I bought this because it's said to be a budget-friendly dupe for Jo Malone Blackberry. Oh, it's quite similar! The scent is lovely, and I like how it subtly diffuses. It's a really nice fragrance. I found the longevity to be a bit disappointing. It feels like a perfume that disappears with the slightest breeze. - no***Dry SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2022
I've heard this is a dupe for Jo Malone's Blackberry & Bay. I don't own that one, so this review is based solely on this product. When you first spray it, there's a subtle sweetness that makes you wonder if it's fruity - that must be the blackberry. Then, a woody scent with grassy notes becomes dominant. There's also a hint of what's often described as a 'men's aftershave' scent. The fragrance isn't light. It's not an extremely fresh, shallow summer scent, but has a nice weight to it. I think it would be perfect for spring and autumn. Color-wise, it brings to mind navy and deep green. In terms of longevity, it feels somewhere between EDT and EDP. If you apply it before work, I think you'd still catch subtle whiffs around lunchtime. It's unisex, so it should suit both men and women well. For women, I think it would pair better with a more formal look, like slacks, rather than something too casual. Considering the price, the quality is excellent, and it's great for daily wear. I have no complaints, but I wouldn't recommend it if you prefer very feminine and sweet fragrances. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 16, 2021
The staying power is top-notch! After spraying, the initial fragrance lasts for a good 4 hours. After that, the scent gradually fades, but if you're lucky, you might not need to reapply during your outing. It's got that classic 'dad cologne' vibe! The more you smell it, the more addictive it becomes. I think there might be a hint of grapefruit in the top notes, but overall, there's hardly any fruity scent. It's predominantly a woody fragrance. Can't think of any downsides at the moment. Just a heads up - if you're expecting it to be like Jo Malone, you might find the scent a bit different. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinOct 30, 2020
To be honest, it's hard to find anything positive to say about this product... The scent isn't particularly outstanding. Maybe it's because I'm not a fan of woody fragrances. - gy********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2020
It seems they've done a good job replicating the famous Jo Malone Blackberry scent. While it's not an exact match to Jo Malone, this fragrance has its own unique charm. When I first sprayed it, I was surprised by the woody notes and the subtle berry scent. But after a few moments, the berry aroma really came through. I think it's a great alternative to Jo Malone Blackberry, especially considering the affordable price. Plus, the bottle design is absolutely gorgeous! I miss the forest-like scent that you get with the original Jo Malone Blackberry. However, considering the price point, I'm still satisfied. - ks******Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessMar 24, 2020
They've recreated the scent of that famous product. It feels very similar, and I think they've done a good job replicating it. Above all, it's affordable, so if you're curious, I think it's worth trying at least once. The scent projection and longevity are also decent, so you don't need to apply too much. Rather than being a problem with the product itself, the scent just doesn't suit me personally. It's currently stored in my drawer because it gives me a headache. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2020
This is a dupe for Jo Malone's Blackberry & Bay. While it's not an exact match like some other famous dupes out there, it's still pretty decent. Everyone's skin chemistry is different, so if someone calls you out saying 'That's a Blackberry knockoff!', just confidently insist 'No way! This is the real Jo Malone!'. It's not a perfect copy, but it's close enough to fool most people if you're convincing. There are some slight differences from the original... But on the bright side, the longevity is much better than the authentic version. It might sound a bit ironic, but this works great when layered with the actual Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay. Since Jo Malone's longevity is notoriously poor, this seems to boost the staying power quite nicely. - hm****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 13, 2020
Compared to Jo Malone, the scent is more intense and leaves a strong blackberry fragrance. The scent lasts longer and it's more affordable, making it great for liberal application. Unlike Jo Malone, it barely has any blackberry wood scent. It's more like just the blackberry stem fragrance... If you're looking for a perfect Jo Malone dupe, this product might disappoint. - dh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 21, 2019
Initially, it has a masculine scent, but that quickly dissipates, giving way to a predominantly sweet berry fragrance. With woody base notes, it's not too light and seems suitable for both men and women. Among the Urban Breeze series, this one's my favorite. The scent projection is decent - I can often catch whiffs of it on myself after 2-3 sprays, though I'm not sure if it reaches others around me. As for value for money, it's absolutely top-notch. Despite being an eau de parfum, its longevity is rather weak. I find myself reapplying about every 3 hours. It's also tricky to gauge the optimal amount to spray, as I'm unsure about its sillage. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 8, 2019
The fragrance lasts for a long time. It starts with a woody scent, but as time passes, it develops into something reminiscent of grapes. The scent is stronger than expected, so be careful not to overspray. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with it.
