Most body emulsions cause clogged pores or blemishes due to moisturizing ingredients like shea butter, so I was looking for a product without those. First off, the scent is incredibly fresh! It's similar to the products used at dermatology clinics, giving you that professional skincare feeling! I also received two pill-shaped soaps as a gratis gift. They're surprisingly large for freebies and leave your skin feeling clean without drying it out. I wanted a product with good ingredients that would help my skin maintain its own moisture balance rather than something overly hydrating. This feels just right - lightly moisturizing so I can use it year-round! The price...? Compared to Happy Bath brand products, which are super cheap with huge quantities, this has less product and is much more expensive... But the ingredients are worlds apart from Happy Bath, so even though it's pricey, I'm planning to use it consistently! There are areas on the body with active sebaceous glands! From the face down to the neck, chest, and back. Some people even have them on their buttocks! If you have oily or combination skin and tend to get blemishes on your chest or back, apply this product to areas with active oil glands. For areas without sebaceous glands like arms and legs that suffer from extreme dryness in winter, it's better to use products containing shea butter. I actually use two different body emulsions! I was so impressed by the Brilliant Emulsion that I had to buy it. It feels rich yet absorbs well with great application. Above all, the fragrance is wonderful, giving me a burst of satisfaction when I apply it after showering. Highly recommended for those with extremely dry skin like mine. Nothing negative so far. I just wish they'd have sales more often.
