I bought a large bottle around 2021 and used it for a while, then repurchased a smaller size last year. While I don't notice a dramatic difference on days I don't use it, on the days I do, I feel like my makeup gracefully fades by the time I get home, leaving a prettier finish. Every time I use this product, I experience blemishes. I get small bumps on my cheeks and tiny purplish spots that look like they might be infected. If it weren't for that, I'd use it daily. But since these skin issues appear so quickly, I can't use it very often. The good review highlights the subtle but noticeable effect of the product on makeup longevity and appearance. The bad review focuses on skin sensitivity issues, specifically mentioning blemishes and potential irritation, which limits frequent use despite the product's other benefits. - se*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 26, 2025
I have extremely oily skin!! Other fixers don't even hold, causing my makeup to slide right off... My skin is so oily that just two hours after applying makeup, the cushion foundation completely disappears due to excess oil. But with the All-Nighter Setting Spray, I was truly impressed. Even after being out for 10 hours, my cushion foundation stayed intact, which was amazing. The scent... It's notorious for its unpleasant smell, but it really does have an odor reminiscent of saliva. If only they could improve the fragrance, I would be so grateful. Spray once after applying all your base makeup! This will significantly reduce the breakdown of your makeup. - ju*****Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 3, 2025
When sprayed, it creates a natural glow while setting the makeup. The subtle luminosity isn't overwhelming even for oily skin types. On days when I use it, my makeup definitely lasts longer. Despite having oily skin, sebum production is delayed, which naturally slows down makeup breakdown. Even eye makeup smudges less and stays put longer. It seems to extend makeup wear by about 1.5 times. Regardless of the cosmetics used, the way makeup fades is always beautiful. Instead of caking or getting patchy, it gracefully fades with a glow, as if the foundation is gently disappearing. The pretty way it wears off keeps me reaching for it. The critical drawbacks are the unpleasant scent and poor spray distribution. The smell reminds me of saliva, and the droplet-like spray feels like someone sneezing in your face. It's off-putting every time I use it. If only I could get past the smell, it would be my holy grail. As time passes, my skin starts to feel tight. For oily skin or if you want to boost longevity even more, try this: spray once before makeup, once after base makeup, and once at the end. With this triple application, you won't have to worry about makeup wear or fading that day. - pc*****Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 7, 2024
It feels refreshing when used as a finishing mist after makeup, helping to set the look and combat dryness. It seems to enhance the staying power of my makeup. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I still notice oil coming through after use, so touch-ups are inevitable anyway. - jj**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 20, 2024
The setting effect is pretty good. It keeps makeup in place quite well. However, it doesn't moisturize as much as I expected. The smell is awful, like saliva. It's a bit pricey, but I guess the effectiveness makes up for it... - in*********Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2024
It's pretty effective at setting makeup. When I spray it after finishing my makeup, I definitely feel like it helps everything stay in place longer. The price wasn't particularly budget-friendly when I purchased it, and the spray power feels a bit weak. - qh*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2023
It really doesn't break down as much. It's amazing! Try using this line's eye primer together - it's even better! The scent... it smells like saliva. The spray power is also not great. If it finishes too matte, it's hard to touch up! - 94********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2023
It seems to do a great job at preventing base makeup from breaking down! If you spray it too many times, it can sometimes make your eyes a bit smudgy... That happens when you overdo it. Spray it multiple times from the front and sides at an angle. However, make sure to pause between sprays. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2022
The staying power is amazing! However, I don't feel there's a huge difference between this and the basic All-Nighter. The price is a bummer. While it seems to last long, it actually runs out quicker than you'd expect. Duty-free used to be cheaper, but I'm not sure about that anymore. I spray it on the puff, directly on my skin, and even during my skincare routine. - zh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedOct 26, 2022
This review is after finishing an entire bottle! I used to use So Natural's matte fixer, but I wanted to try something different, so I switched to Urban Decay. The main difference is that So Natural's fixer really dried out my oily skin to the point of feeling like dry skin. If you experience deep dryness, Urban Decay might be much better for you. When you spray it on, it feels moisturizing, and the staying power is incredible - it lasts all day long. Your makeup stays put for an extremely long time unless you deliberately touch it up. Unlike other fixers that irritated my skin, Urban Decay didn't cause any blemishes or reactions, even though I have super sensitive skin. If you're looking for a fixer that's hydrating, non-greasy, and long-lasting, I highly recommend this one! The price point is a bit disappointing... It's quite expensive. While the effects are amazing, I think the cost might be burdensome for those who need to use a fixer daily. If you layer it two or three times, it really lasts a long time! Spray, let it dry, then spray again and let it dry once more for best results!
