The matte, base-like color makes it great for pairing with other matte shades. It's perfect for creating an overlip look too. It transfers easily onto masks due to lack of staining, and can look messy if you haven't exfoliated. The color seems to develop more yellow undertones with continued use compared to when it was new. I was using another product before that I really liked, but I found out the ingredients weren't great. This one, however, has good ingredients and is perfect for my warm undertone. I've been using it every day lately! I highly recommend it for those with warm undertones - it has a lovely orange-brick color. The stick feels like it's pilling a bit as it's applied. I always use this product as a base lip color, and it complements any shade I apply on top. Even when applied heavily as an accent, it looks absolutely stunning! It's a perfect color for fall and winter. When my lips are dry or in poor condition, it tends to accentuate the dead skin cells. Applying lip balm before using this product works well enough! I have an ambiguous skin tone that fluctuates between warm and cool, so finding a perfect lip color has been challenging. I bought this because I love matte lipsticks, and I'm so impressed! It glides on incredibly smoothly, and the color is absolutely gorgeous. I'm definitely planning to repurchase it in the future. Since it's matte, if you don't take good care of your lips regularly, it can really highlight dead skin cells. I highly recommend applying a lip balm beforehand!
