It's a water-based essence with a subtle fragrance. The formula absorbs quickly without any sticky or slippery feeling. Its lightweight texture makes it perfect for use as an exfoliating toner. After application, your skin feels noticeably smoother. The product contains phenoxyethanol, PEG, and BHT. I received a sample and used it on a trip, and it was so good that I bought the full-size product. When you use this, your skin really changes... It feels so firm and gives a glow while making your skin feel plump. The texture is watery, but it's called an essence, so it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry at all after application. It's a bit pricey, but considering how good the product is, it's worth every penny. It's a shame that the ingredients aren't the best... The scent is subtle and it feels like it naturally replenishes moisture. After trying it, I'd say it's pretty good. I wish it were a bit more affordable, and it might be a bit heavy for summer use. When applied right after washing my face, it makes my skin feel hydrated and seems to significantly improve blemishes! Although it has a slippery texture, it absorbs into the skin with a firm, plumping effect, leaving no feeling of dryness. I've been using this consistently, and it feels like it's replenishing my skin's hydration. Despite having extremely dry and sensitive skin, I'm managing to use it quite well! When you pat it on, you can feel your skin becoming firm and bouncy. I've been using it daily by putting it in a spray bottle and misting it on. The only downside is the high price point. Other than that, there's nothing particularly disappointing about this essence.

I love applying it to my face, neck, and décolleté right after showering, gently massaging it in. The natural-like scent is so refreshing! However, I find that the Microessence suits my skin a bit better. The Kombucha Essence feels slightly over-nourishing yet somehow lacking - it's sticky to apply but doesn't provide that deep hydration I'm after, so I probably won't repurchase it. That said, when my body feels extra dry, I'll apply it all over before my body emulsion. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and supple. If money were no object, I'd love to use this as a body moisturizer! I had no idea Fresh products were in this price range. The main drawback is, without a doubt, the price. Before stepping out of the shower, I generously apply it to my face, neck, and décolleté, massaging along my skin's contours. It really helps reduce puffiness. My husband and I always use this product together. We've heard it's beneficial to apply multiple layers, so that's how we're using it. I loved how hydrating it was. It seemed to lock in moisture deep down, which was great. Yet, it still had a refreshing finish. I'm not sure if I need to layer this product to get enough hydration. It left me wondering. I used it as a substitute for a boosting toner.
