It absorbs smoothly, but I can't really pinpoint any major advantages I'm willing to overlook its shortcomings just because the packaging is so pretty! - so********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 26, 2022
The packaging is luxurious and beautiful. It provides excellent hydration. I love that it has a pearlescent finish. The color payoff on bare lips is a bit... I use it over lipstick or tint because the pigmentation is that weak. - to********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2022
It has a natural, healthy-looking light pink color with subtle golden shimmer. The core color is identical to NARS Blush in Orgasm, but it's so sheer that when applied, it barely adds any color to the lips. What's fascinating is that it has a glass-like shine, which is rare among lip balms that typically just glide on smoothly like lip gloss. As someone new to high-end brands, I'm constantly amazed by their technology and resources. There wasn't anything particularly bad, but if you're buying this as your sole makeup item, you might be a bit disappointed. It feels slightly lacking in color payoff. - vi*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2022
I'm a tinted lip balm nomad. I've journeyed from Dior Lip Glow to Bobbi Brown, then Melixir, Hera Lip Spicy Balm, and now I've landed on NARS Glow Balm. Compared to others, NARS Glow Balm's unique feature is its golden shimmer, which seems to give a plumping effect to the lips. I was initially worried the golden shimmer might look too flashy on a bare face, but it's actually quite subtle, so I comfortably wear it even with minimal makeup. Still, I think it would look even better applied over lipstick, like a shimmery lip gloss. The texture and firmness are most similar to Dior Lip Glow. In terms of color payoff, while Dior and Bobbi Brown react to your body temperature to develop color, this one doesn't have that effect. So comparatively, the color intensity might be a bit disappointing. However, for those who prefer subtle tinted balms, it's not too overwhelming, which is why I'm quite satisfied using it. The color payoff is slightly disappointing. I bought the Orgasm shade, but it came with a mini Deep Throat as a gratis. After trying Deep Throat, I found it has a slightly pink tone and better color payoff than Orgasm, so I reach for it more often. If I were to buy again, I might choose Deep Throat over Orgasm. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDec 12, 2021
1. The color applies naturally, making it perfect for a no-makeup look with just this lip balm on. 2. Its glossy formula creates a beautiful glow, drawing attention to your lips and adding dimension to your face when you look in the mirror. 3. It functions well as a lip balm, reducing the appearance of dead skin cells when used under lipstick or tint. I often used the Orgasm lip balm as a base before applying other lip products. 1. After not using it for about a month, I tried the lip balm again and experienced an unusual headache with a dull sensation in the back of my head that lasted for a few minutes. Because of this, I stopped using it afterward. 2. As a summer mute color type, I sometimes felt the lip color looked a bit disconnected from my complexion. Although I used it frequently because the color itself was pretty, I often heard comments that it didn't suit me well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 9, 2021
I tried the mini size and loved it! The gold pearl is subtly beautiful, the scent is delicate, and the packaging is gorgeous... I'm planning to buy the full-size version! The formula is quite soft, so you need to apply it gently by twisting up a little at a time. If you apply too much pressure, the base of the lipstick can break off Applying it slightly over your lip line can make you look younger! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 27, 2021
The design is truly beautiful and the color is absolutely gorgeous! I can't really think of any downsides. I love it so much! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2021
I used to use any lip balm or Dior lip products, but I found Dior's moisturizing effect didn't last long. So I switched to cheaper products until a friend gifted me this one. It was a game-changer! The hydration and how it absorbs are incredible. Unlike Dior, which can leave your lips looking pale like you've eaten fried food, this gives a subtle tint that makes your lips look naturally moisturized and alive. The color doesn't fade quickly either. There's a slight shimmer to it, which I absolutely love. I'm 100% going to repurchase this. However, if you're not a fan of shimmer, it might be a hit or miss for you. The price is a bit steep, but that's partly due to the NARS brand name. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2021
I bought this as a birthday gift for my mom, and she was absolutely thrilled with it. The design is elegant, and the shade naturally brightens her complexion, giving her a healthy glow. The hydration isn't great. It's good as a gift though. It's basically just a tinted lip balm with a bit of color. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 20, 2021
Unlike other department store brand lip balms, this one creates a more luminous effect. It makes your lips look plumper, more hydrated, and beautifully glossy. It's on the softer side, which means it gets used up quickly. The slightly oily texture is both a pro and a con.
