The pretty pink case was so lovely that I kept it even after using up all the product. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. The product itself is moisturizing and effectively removes makeup. While the jar packaging can be a bit inconvenient, it does remove makeup well. I wish they would release a version with a flip-top lid that pops up and down instead of the jar format. It removes makeup thoroughly. Be generous when applying it. It's really fantastic! - oh********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresJun 15, 2022
My skin type is combination dehydrated. I typically use waterproof makeup products that are hard to remove. When choosing a cleanser, I prioritize cleansing effectiveness, how my skin feels after washing, and the overall ingredients. Cleansing Effectiveness: ★★★ While there are many effective cleansers on the market these days, this product falls short in terms of cleansing power. It struggles to remove waterproof eyeliner and lip tints. The cleanser feels quite slippery, so I had to scrub vigorously until the slipperiness was gone and the makeup was removed. I've included a photo - if you look closely, you can see traces of black eyeliner and pink lip tint remaining. Texture: ★★★ I prefer refreshing cleansers. This product starts as a gel but transforms into an oil-like consistency when massaged. It's not light or refreshing, but rather feels heavy. However, it's not irritating. Ingredients: ★★★★ The ingredients seem decent. I didn't experience any blemishes or skin irritation. Post-Cleanse Feel: ★★★ My skin didn't feel tight after use. However, it felt like there was a slight oily residue, so I had to rinse thoroughly with water. This cleanser might be suitable for winter use or for those with dry skin! Volume & Price: ★★ 100ml for 28,000 won With so many great cleansers available nowadays offering good ingredients, cleansing power, price, and volume... I'd rather spend this money on a cleansing oil. ❌ It stings if it gets in your eyes ❌ After rinsing, it feels like there's still residue, requiring extra rinsing (feels slightly oily) ❌ Doesn't remove makeup as effectively as a cleansing oil Double cleansing is a must! - tn******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 7, 2022
It's great for dry skin as it leaves a moisturized finish! At first, I thought the oil wouldn't come off, but I didn't experience any blemishes. Instead, it even removed point makeup in one go, making it convenient and easy to use. It was neat as it didn't run like a cleansing oil, but one drawback is that using the spatula can be a hassle, which might lead to not using it and potentially make it less hygienic. - ch**********Dehydrated SkinRecommendedAug 6, 2021
A cleansing balm that doesn't leave your skin feeling tight (recommended) After use, it leaves the skin comfortably moisturized without any tightness. The fragrance is luxurious. In these mask-wearing times, I only apply sunscreen, and this seems to remove it well. It immediately shows where you've missed spots by turning white (it's originally transparent but turns white when it touches water). Despite being a cleansing balm with hydrating ingredients, it can thoroughly cleanse. Strong cleansing effectiveness - removes most things. The slippery feeling after cleansing is quite strong, so it might not suit those who prefer a squeaky clean feel. The case design, which requires using a spatula to scoop out the product, is inconvenient. It would have been much better and more hygienic if it came in a pump bottle. - bn*****Normal SkinApr 4, 2021
Unlike other formulas, it doesn't run down and can be wiped off easily. The fragrance-free formula doesn't irritate the senses. The spatula is inconvenient to use. I don't want to bother with a spatula while cleansing... There's nowhere to put it, so I just scoop it with my hands. After wiping and rinsing with water, the cloudy cleansing water runs down my hands, which is annoying. It's difficult to cleanse the inner corners of the eyes (after cleansing, I still need to use a separate point remover for my eyes, which produces that much residue). To be fair, any formula like this would probably have the same issue. If you don't follow up with a foam cleanser, you'll have residue like this left over. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2020
The fragrance is lovely, and it feels like it's gently melting into my skin, making application a pleasure. It's also effective at removing makeup. When rinsing with water, there's a lingering sensation on the skin, which makes me feel the need to rinse more thoroughly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinAug 9, 2020
Great for those who wear light makeup (eyebrows, light cushion foundation, mascara). Ideal for dry skin types and during dry seasons. The product itself is low-irritation, but ultimately...! It takes an excessively long time to rinse off. You have to keep touching your face while rinsing, which inevitably irritates the skin. As someone prone to contact dermatitis when touching my face, what's the point of a gentle product if the removal process is irritating? Compared to other cleansing balms, it takes twice as much time and water to rinse off. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 14, 2019
Well... I received this as a gift and used it, but it seems to have all the things I dislike in one product. First of all, it's incredibly heavy. The process of wiping it off is quite strenuous. Since you have to keep rubbing sensitive areas like around the eyes, sometimes the oil gets into your eyes, making it hard to see and causing a stinging sensation. It takes a long time to remove. And if you lose the spatula, you're in quite a pickle. - ok********Dry SkinEnlarged PoresAug 22, 2019
It's really hydrating! Even with my dry skin, using this as a first step followed by a regular foam cleanser left my skin feeling moisturized. The ingredients seem to be quite gentle. It did remove my makeup well, though I only wear light coverage like cushion foundation. Maybe it's because it's a balm, but the texture is quite thick, making it difficult to spread initially. It does soften as you massage it in, but that initial application is a bit challenging. It doesn't rinse off easily with just water. You need to emulsify it like a cleansing oil by adding a bit of water to your hands and massaging more before rinsing. Even then, it left a strange feeling, so I always followed up with a foam cleanser. I ended up just scooping it out with my fingers, but if you misjudge the amount, you have to dip in again, which was a bit annoying to control. I used it throughout all seasons, but in winter, it was too thick and didn't spread well, so I didn't like it then. I managed to use it up mostly in summer. I'm not a fan of cleansing balms in general. The balm format itself just doesn't work for me. I prefer products that apply easily and spread smoothly, so I've decided I'm never buying a balm cleanser again. - hn*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2019
It absorbs smoothly and cleanses effectively, which I love! Even with my dry skin, there's no tightness after washing. When it got into my eyes, the burning sensation was so intense I could barely open them.
