It applies like a lip lacquer, initially feeling thin, but quickly sets to a matte finish. The tip shape makes it easy to apply. The color is a bit too vibrant, which can be overwhelming, and it leaves a pink stain on the lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2020
I received this as a gift from a friend. The case is beautiful and the color is lovely. The only downside is that it can feel a bit rich at times. - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityFeb 24, 2020
I have other shades too, and since the packaging color differs for each, it's easy to find the one I want. When I was shopping, this product was often compared to YSL and Armani tints in red shades. I ended up buying all three because I wasn't satisfied with just one. Among the three brands, personally, I found Shu Uemura to have the least pleasant feel. It doesn't dry completely on the lips, and when you press your lips together, it creates a yogurt-like effect. It's sticky, emphasizes dead skin cells, and the glossy finish doesn't last long. It transfers easily, and as time passes, it makes my lips feel tight and dry. While I don't usually suit pinks or blue-toned reds, I bought this because it stained orange-red on my hand. However, on my lips, it appeared quite pink. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2019
* Even without applying a moisturizer, my lips don't develop dead skin cells and remain glossy. I highly recommend this for those with dry lips. * I have quite a few lip wrinkles and am usually sensitive to lip products, but this one beautifully conceals my lip lines, which I really appreciate. * As you use it, the product tends to leak quite a bit when closing the lid. * I can't think of any other drawbacks. For the best results, apply a thin layer all over your lips, then add just a touch more to the inner part. This seems to create a much prettier effect. Be careful not to apply more than two layers, as it may start to pill. - le*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2019
I actually meant to buy a matte lipstick, but I accidentally got this one... haha! Since I didn't have any moisturizing lip products, I thought I'd give it a try. The glossy finish and the color were perfect for my warm complexion. If you blot it once with a tissue, it becomes slightly more matte and the staying power improves a bit. It's a great product for everyday use! I'd say the price is a bit of a downside... Also, because it's so moisturizing, the staying power isn't as long-lasting as I'd like... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2019
It's amazing for my dry skin! I love that it doesn't create any dead skin cells at all. I wish there were more color options. It would be great to have some red shades in addition to the pink ones. - su*****Dry SkinSep 28, 2018
This is a vibrant red lip color with a fluorescent tinge, not an orange-red. As you blend it or as time passes, it takes on a vermilion hue. The application is surprisingly tacky, not moisturizing as I expected. It's so thick that it really adheres to your lips. Due to its tacky nature, applying it thinly might slightly emphasize fine lines, but it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells even after extended wear. Being a water-tint red lip, it does smudge when eating, requiring touch-ups. However, it stays put during talking or sipping drinks through a straw, showing impressive longevity. The tacky liquid formula means your hair might stick to your lips on windy days! If you apply it with dry, flaky lips, it can cling to dead skin cells, creating an uneven texture. The color isn't quite orange-red or pink-red, but a true red with yellow undertones, which I find a bit ambiguous and don't reach for often. For touch-ups, make sure to smooth out any dead skin cells on your lips before reapplying for a flawless finish.
