This is my holy grail serum! It's gentle on the skin and really brightens my complexion. If you have super sensitive skin, it might be a bit irritating. Updated review 5 > 3 Gradually became too irritating, couldn't finish the product Review after about 2 weeks of use: Lately, being cooped up at home had my skin in a rough, blemish-ridden state (usually my skin looks better with makeup than bare). I had a retinol serum sample from iHerb, and since the reviews were good and I usually respond well to firming products, I decided to give it a try. Instantly, my skin became incredibly smooth. The next day, even a large pimple on my cheek subsided (way more effective than cortisone injections). With continued use, acne marks gradually became smaller and faded. Yesterday, I misused an exfoliator and got some small bumps, but today they've completely vanished. It sounds like a testimonial, but I've truly never seen a skincare product work this well before. It takes some time to adjust. If you apply it two days in a row, it can sting, but after about a week, there's no irritation and it works great. Use it every other evening only!! Just one drop on each cheek is effective without irritation. Since using active ingredients daily can be intimidating, apply sparingly and cautiously instead of slathering it on.

The next day, my skin looks refreshed and renewed. I think many of you using retinol, like me, are dealing with blemishes. When Differin doesn't seem to work, this product is great for a quick boost! Since I don't have any complaints yet, I'll continue with the positives! With its small size and affordable price when bought directly from iH*rb, it's a great way to try retinol for beginners. Plus, you get to experience the mystique of the orange-colored essence! Since it's sensitive to oxygen, I make sure to tightly close the cap and apply it quickly!

The next morning when you wash your face, your skin feels incredibly smooth. At first, I thought it was good and used it daily, but there's some irritation. Your face might become red or sensitive. It seems you should apply only a small amount to your face. I gently pat a single drop of the ampoule on each cheek. After prepping the skin with toner, I apply a drop of retinol ampoule on each cheek. Then, I mix aloe and propolis and apply it to soothe the skin. I used this so well during the transition from fall to winter last year. My complexion was great back then, but why is it different now? I should use it again. For a citrusy serum, it's gentle and doesn't sting. My slightly sensitive skin experienced no irritation at all. After applying, my face turns orange. So it's hard to tell if my skin tone has actually brightened or not. Don't apply in the morning.
