The coverage is really fantastic! The adherence is top-notch too. You can always trust April Skin products. It applies so thinly and smoothly. I have combination skin, and honestly, all my friends use this cushion foundation. Any downsides? Not really. While the Hero Cushion had issues with scent and application, this one is just perfect! Oh wait, there is one tiny thing - it does oxidize a bit. My friends mentioned this too. If oxidation is a deal-breaker for you, you might want to think it over. - dg********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 3, 2025
I have combination skin, and no matter how carefully I applied my skincare routine with Hwahae-recommended products and primers, my cushion foundation would always separate or pill, with poor longevity. But this cushion? It's a game-changer! From the moment I apply it, there's no pilling or separation. It goes on beautifully with a clear #21 shade, giving me that coveted 'Inner Glow'. The color is a perfect match for me - not too dark, just a clear #21 tone. It covers pores decently while maintaining a semi-matte finish. As soon as you apply it, you can feel the cooling effect and how well it adheres to the skin. The glow it gives is simply mind-blowing! It's been over three weeks since I bought this cushion, and I've been using it almost daily. Since switching to this, my friends keep asking what I'm using, and I've received so many compliments on my improved complexion. I really think everyone should give this a try at least once - you won't regret it! While it looks gorgeous when first applied and I'm really pleased with it, I'm a bit disappointed with its staying power. I think this cushion might be more suitable for winter rather than summer wear. - yr********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 2, 2025
It didn't cause much irritation and gave my skin a beautiful appearance. The adherence was absolutely fantastic, and the coverage was simply mind-blowing. It effectively conceals redness and blemishes! Those with extremely sensitive skin should read the reviews carefully before purchasing. There's a possibility it might not sit perfectly on some skin types. - qp********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 2, 2025
I've been using this throughout the harsh winter, and it's incredibly moisturizing. Highly recommend for combination dehydrated skin! It's a bit disappointing that it breaks down, and the staying power seems slightly weak. - ps*******Combination SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 1, 2025
In winter, no matter what cushion I used, my skin always flaked. But this one is truly fantastic! The coverage is great and it's so moisturizing, it's the best. There's a bit of darkening, unfortunately. So at first, I applied it a bit thicker to compensate. - si******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
This cushion is more hydrating and offers better coverage than the Hero cushion. When you apply it, you don't even need concealer. It doesn't settle into nose creases and has great staying power. The best part is that the more you press the cushion, the more foundation comes out, making it super easy to control the amount. The cushion design looks a bit mature, but it's not bad overall. I'd recommend getting one shade lighter than your usual. - ck********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
The coverage is great, especially for someone like me with a lot of blemishes. It adheres well to the skin too. Thumbs up! Hmm... There's a bit of darkening that happens. It's a bit disappointing. Sometimes the darkening is quite noticeable, while other times it's not so bad. - hy********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
The color is beautiful and it applies with a nice moisturizing effect, making it suitable for combination to dry skin types To be honest, I'm not sure about its coverage. It's just okay, usable but nothing special - ho***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
1. Skin Appearance It's not too matte, more of a semi-matte finish, and not overly moisturizing, which I love! The coverage is decent, I'd say medium to high, so it evens out the complexion nicely. However, if you're expecting full coverage, you might be a bit disappointed. 2. Adherence + Longevity The adherence is pretty good at first! For longevity, after about 8 hours, it starts to fade around the sides of the nose. Somehow, the skin doesn't look as flawless as it did initially. The way it breaks down isn't the prettiest, if that makes sense. 3. Darkening There's about a half-shade of darkening. Be careful with the amount you dispense! When you first press the pump, even a gentle push releases quite a bit of product, so be cautious! Apply a tiny amount and gently pat it into the skin for the best application. - kq********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
I absolutely love this product! My skin has so many issues - acne-prone, large pores, and redness - which made my routine exhausting and tedious. But now, this April Skin Magic Snow Cushion covers everything! I was especially stressed about my severe redness and had been searching for a cushion that could effectively conceal it. This is exactly what I needed! If you have similar skin concerns, trust me and give this a try! Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. However, I've heard some people developed skin issues after using this product. I suppose it varies depending on skin type, which is unavoidable.
