I heard this product was famous in Taiwan for its soothing properties, so I wanted to give it a try... However, the alcohol scent was so strong that I couldn't apply it all over my face. I used it a few times as a calming mask by shaking the bottle well to mix the calamine powder, then applying it to a cotton pad and leaving it on briefly. While it's marketed as a toner for blemishes and sensitive skin, the strong alcohol scent suggests it's not as gentle as one might expect. My bottle is from 2018, but the expiration date is until 2023... A five-year shelf life...?

There's powder at the bottom, so it might be a bit drying for those with dry skin. I remember it had a soothing effect. (It's been 2 years since I used it...) After trying it, I regretted not stocking up on more! If it becomes available in Korea, I'd definitely repurchase it! It has an alcohol scent. I wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to alcohol fragrances! However, since I'm prone to blemishes, I occasionally use products containing alcohol!
