The right shade, Chic Frick, is brimming with even more golden sparkle. As soon as I saw it, I was absolutely dying to illuminate my cheekbones with its radiant glow. While the colors are separate, blending them together creates an even more stunning effect. Apart from the rather high price point and the difficulty in finding it domestically, there aren't really any drawbacks to speak of. It works wonderfully as a highlighter, but with its pink hue, it can double as a blush too - talk about getting two for the price of one!

The combination works great too. The left shade, 'Girl Next Door', is a very light cool pink with tiny silver sparkles. It's almost transparent with a white tint, making it perfect as a natural highlighter. The shimmer is subtle yet beautifully sparkly, and the color isn't too white but translucent, which makes it an excellent highlighter. For eyeshadow use, it's best applied as a sheer, shimmer-focused layer. The right shade, 'Chic Phreak', has a more peachy tone with slightly larger gold sparkles compared to 'Girl Next Door'. It's equally beautiful when it shimmers, but the larger sparkle particles make the glitter more noticeable. The pretty peach-coral color combined with gold shimmer would work well as a subtle blush with highlighting properties, or you could apply it lightly connecting to your blush for a beautiful highlight. True to a highlighter, the color payoff isn't too intense, making it versatile and easy to use. The texture is smooth, the color payoff is good, and it adheres well to the skin. Unlike some highlighters that can be too hard and difficult to pick up, this one applies easily with beautiful shimmer from the first swipe. The color isn't as intense as an eyeshadow, applying with just the right amount of transparency for a highlighter. The case is thin and lightweight, making it wonderfully compact. It also has a large mirror inside, which is a great bonus! The slim, lightweight design with a mirror makes it perfect for on-the-go. The case design is unique and pretty, and I love the layout with two wide color pans. Above all, I really appreciate how thin and light it is! While the shimmery pearl effect is beautiful, the almost transparent color payoff might be a matter of personal preference. It gives a natural look, but the effect is slightly less noticeable compared to my go-to The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer. Still, it's pretty in its own right. Although I mentioned it could be used as an eyeshadow, true to its nature as a highlighter, the color isn't very intense and applies somewhat sheerly. It's best used as a thin, shimmer-focused base layer for eyeshadow. Personally, I think it's better to use it solely as a highlighter. The composition is really nice. You can use the left color for highlighting the bridge of your nose, forehead, cupid's bow, and brow bone, while the right color works perfectly for highlighting cheekbones or cheeks. For those who find blush doesn't suit them or feels too heavy, the right color can be used as a subtle blush alternative doubling as a highlighter. The colors are soft and pretty, so you can also apply your regular blush and then seamlessly blend this highlighter into the upper front part of your blush for a natural glow.
