I haven't seen a product this good at covering blemishes and uneven pores. Even after trying various cushions advertised elsewhere, I always come back to this one. I have combination skin and didn't experience any blemishes. There's a slight pilling, but not enough to be bothersome. It's important to apply it by spreading and filling in carefully. - li******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessJul 11, 2022
When I first applied it, I was impressed by the coverage. It went on smoothly with good adherence, and it wasn't too matte or shiny. The feel was really nice... I bought it after seeing it on TikTok, and it's better than I expected. I used shade 21, which seemed a bit lighter than my usual compact foundation in 21. Overall, my first impression is 4 out of 5 points. Fell for another TikTok ad. It transfers easily onto masks, and I'm not sure about its longevity. When it breaks down, it looks dirty and patchy, making my skin appear dry and like the product is just sitting on top rather than blending in. Maybe it's just me? The application feels nice, but I'll have to think twice about repurchasing. It's a shame to waste it, and since the initial application is good, I'm layering it over my BB cream. I'm trying to find the right technique to make it work for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2022
I've tried countless cushions and compacts, and while it's hard to find one that ticks all the boxes, I've decided to settle on the Sister Ann Jelly Cover Compact for now. It may not be perfect, but it's the best I've found after trying various options. I was intrigued when they claimed it wouldn't transfer onto masks, but I've learned once again that there's no such thing as a truly transfer-proof compact in this world. It was a bit naive of me to expect otherwise. One swipe of the puff is enough to cover your entire face. If you layer it on, you'll end up with a full-coverage bridal look before you know it! - ki********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2022
There's a bit of settling into nose creases, but the coverage is good. I like that it's not sticky. While it does transfer to masks a bit, I think it's impossible to find one that doesn't transfer at all. Personally, I really like it and would repurchase! What I liked: - It's not very sticky - It lasts a long time - Easy to control the amount used - Doesn't rub off even after wearing it for a while It settles into nose creases. Honestly, thinking about it, that's the only downside I can come up with! - hh********Combination SkinJan 15, 2022
There's not much positive to say, but I suppose writing this helps me reach the minimum character count. First off, I was shocked by how dark it was when I received it. My skin tone is usually around 24-25. However, except in summer, I prefer to do my makeup slightly lighter than my skin tone, so I typically use shade 23. When applied to my skin, it initially appears a bit brighter than my natural tone, but it quickly turns dull and dark. I'm not sure if this is darkening... When I look at my face later, I'm really startled by how dark it's become. Aiming for a flattering look, I tried applying it thinly, but the coverage is poor. Even with just one layer, it feels heavy and looks thick. It transfers badly onto my mask, ruining it. The product settles into my pores, making my skin look worse and darker. I fell for the social media ads and bought this, but it's a total fail, haha! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2021
I have quite a few blemishes and scars, and my skin is extremely oily! So I've always used products with strong coverage and cushions that can really control oil. This jelly cushion was my first experience with this type of product. Pros: 1. The coverage is really good! It conceals well even without applying it thickly. 2. True to its jelly formula, it absorbs much more smoothly than regular cushions. 3. The teardrop-shaped puff is great for applying around the nose, and the textured area inside the lid allows you to remove excess product for better control when applying. Cons: 1. Even when trying to apply it thinly, it can feel a bit heavy. (I applied the same amount as with other cushions, but after switching to this one, I got comments that my makeup looked heavier). 2. It has a pink undertone, so even shade 23 is quite light! 3. It tends to settle into lines and can look cakey. (Compared to other cushions, this product was the most prone to caking). When using this product, avoid applying it under orange or yellow lighting. Instead, apply it under bright fluorescent lights so you can adjust and avoid over-whitening your complexion! There were times when I applied it in dim lighting and got a shock when I went somewhere brighter and realized how heavily it was applied. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2021
While it doesn't provide as much coverage as advertised, layering it a few times does offer decent coverage. The price is reasonable. Even though I don't have particularly fair skin, applying it thickly still gives a natural complexion. The teardrop-shaped puff is convenient to use. It doesn't feel very hydrating. Also, contrary to the advertisement claiming it doesn't transfer onto masks, it actually transfers quite easily. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2021
Even though it's shade 23, the color was brighter than I expected and matched my skin perfectly. The application was nice, and the longevity was the best among all the foundations I've tried. While it transferred less to my mask compared to other products, it seems some transfer is unavoidable. I bought it after reading reviews about its good coverage, but it didn't cover as much as I had hoped. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 5, 2020
It covers well and applies smoothly with a nice moisture feel. I'm not sure about it being super hydrating, but it definitely has a good level of hydration. Unfortunately, it transfers onto masks a lot. It also gets messy too easily, and dust seems to stick to it readily. Since we're wearing masks so often these days, I've found that applying powder as a finishing touch before putting on the mask helps reduce transfer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 14, 2020
The coverage is really good. I can't stress enough how well it covers! It's a bit greasy, but other than that, it's not bad. I wish it came in a cushion format though.
