I'm absolutely thrilled with this product! I've been stressed about my upper lip hair every day, so I decided to give this a try. My sister helped me out, and it wasn't as painful as I expected. Almost all the hair came off, except for a strand or two. I'm so happy with how clean and smooth my upper lip looks now! After removing the strip, it feels a bit sticky and there's a slight tingling sensation. It can also feel a bit numb. The product comes with oil wipes which are great for soothing the skin afterwards, but it's disappointing that there are only two wipes included. I found it much less painful when someone else (like family or a friend) removed the strip for me, compared to doing it myself. I recommend using the oil wipe right after removing the hair with the wax strip, gently patting it on the area to soothe the skin! - da*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 4, 2020
It seems to work pretty well for hair removal. It's convenient and easy to use! Short hairs don't come out as easily. There's a slight sticky residue left after removing it. Warm it up by rubbing between your hands, apply in the direction of hair growth, wait until it feels set, then pull off against the hair growth direction. For best results, let your hair grow a bit longer before using, as it doesn't work as well on very short hair. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2020
I absolutely love this product! If you're concerned about upper lip hair, you must try it! While it's available at Olive Young, when I bought it, it was out of stock in two locations. But don't worry, it's not too harsh on the skin, so give it a try! First off, there aren't many of those tissue-like sheets included. Also, while it's not particularly harsh, those with super sensitive skin might experience some irritation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 23, 2020
This product is really great! While some irritation is inevitable with wax strips, I didn't experience any breakouts or reactions after use. If used correctly, it's highly effective for hair removal! I mainly use it for my upper lip area, and I love that one application uses two strips - perfect for doing the right and left sides. Just be careful when applying near the corners of your mouth, as it might not remove hair as effectively there. It's a bit puzzling why the number of oil wipes doesn't match the wax strips. There should be an equal amount of both, but there are fewer oil wipes. I don't quite understand the reasoning behind this product composition. Personally, I skip the oil wipes altogether and use my regular cleansing oil to remove any residue. It works perfectly fine for cleaning up. - ji********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsDec 29, 2019
I've been using this to shape my eyebrows, and it does a pretty neat job of tidying them up! It's excruciatingly painful when removing. It even peeled off a bit of skin... ouch! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 6, 2019
To be honest, there's nothing positive I can say. I have sensitive skin but forgot about that when I tried this. Now I regret it as the area around my mouth has become red and irritated. If you have super sensitive skin, please just avoid this product. Everything about this was disappointing. Considering how painful the waxing was, the results were underwhelming. Not all the hair was removed, with patches remaining here and there. While trying to remove the peach fuzz above my upper lip, I ended up with red beard-like marks instead. (Update: Fortunately, the redness disappeared without any staining after a week.) For those with sensitive skin, I recommend going to Olive Young and buying a women's facial hair trimmer. They're quite affordable, usually priced between 3,000 to 5,000 won from what I know. - wj*******Combination SkinNov 3, 2019
The hair removal worked well. Considering the price, you get quite a lot... I broke out after using this. My face has always been fine with everything, so this is shocking. Everyone, please do a patch test first. Also, the hair removal was patchy. And there's a huge difference in the amount of wax versus oil in the product... Please, I beg you, do a patch test beforehand! - ki******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 9, 2019
Wow, this is the first time I've ever tried it and it's really amazing... It's not perfectly clean, but most of it peels off and it feels so satisfying. Highly recommended! The downside is that some residue remains in spots... Also, there aren't enough oil wipes. Too few. Make sure to press firmly - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2019
1. Unbeatable value and effectiveness I've always had facial hair growth comparable to men, especially on my upper lip and chin, so I used to frequent Bene** for waxing. While the cost per session was a bit steep, these strips last quite a while once purchased. One waxing session lasts over 3 weeks 2. Generous strip quantity The wax-coated strips are actually larger than needed for the upper lip or between eyebrows, so I cut them to size. I really appreciate the ample quantity provided. 3. Easy to use Just warm the strip by rubbing it, apply, and pull off - that's it! 1. Insufficient oil wipes compared to strips There are 16 strips but only 2 oil wipes... 2. It hurts... it really hurts... But I suppose this is something you have to endure when waxing. When you run out of oil wipes, products rich in oil work well to remove wax residue. I used Hanyul Yuja Oil Toner and it cleaned up perfectly! When cutting the strips with scissors, it's better to rub them first and then cut to prevent the wax from leaking out. Highly recommend using a sheet mask after waxing! Applying any type of mask right after waxing has a soothing effect!
