I don't wear heavy makeup, so I just apply sunscreen and this product, and that's it! It brightens my complexion so beautifully that I've been using it consistently for years. I can't believe this! I'm furious that they've been selling such a problematic cosmetic product. But I love the product so much... What should I do? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 12, 2017
It brightens the complexion and works great as a highlighter. Rather than using it alone, I mix it with BB cream or sunscreen when applying. It subtly evens out the skin tone, making it perfect not just for highlighting but also as an overall base. However, I'm not sure if it's just my clumsy hands or if it depends on skin condition, but when I use it alone, it sometimes pills or clumps. That's why I always mix it with other products. Those with dry skin might experience pilling. I first bought it last July and was satisfied throughout summer. Since there's no store in my area, I repurchased in January this year. But when I applied it in winter, it pilled terribly! It was so noticeable that I couldn't use it and left it unused for months. Recently, I started using it again, and maybe because it's summer, it applies beautifully without any pilling. If you have dry skin and use this product alone, it might pill or clump. Try mixing it with other products. I mix it with BB cream or sunscreen in a 3:1 ratio, or BB:Soothing Gel:Younger in a 3:1:1 ratio. This prevents pilling and gives an overall brightening effect to the base makeup. For those with dry skin like me who want to use it as a highlighter or for accent points, make sure to hydrate and moisturize your skin thoroughly before application. (I use a sheet mask and apply plenty of moisturizer as a base. For accent points, I usually use Clio products, but when I want a subtle pearl effect, I mix a bit of the soothing gel and layer it on.) If you don't provide enough hydration, those with dry skin might want to stick to regular color cosmetics for point makeup. (This is my personal opinion based on what works for my skin.) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 18, 2017
I really like this, but the score is so low it's a shame! Even though I usually hate liquid highlighters, this one gives me an instant sauna glow that I can't resist reaching for... Is it inconvenient because it's a liquid type? Does it mean you end up using it wastefully? You need to apply it generously and use a good amount for the best effect - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2016
The gentler ingredients are a plus. I bought it after trying it on my hand and liking how it looked. It seems fine for applying on the body. It severely accentuates textured pores, but the biggest issue is that makeup sits terribly on top of it. Whether you apply this before or over foundation, there's significant pilling and it doesn't adhere well. So I can't use it when wearing makeup, only occasionally when I want a glow on bare skin. Personally, I'm really dissatisfied with it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 7, 2015
It absorbs well and has great adherence. As expected from a highlighter and skin tint, it has a pearlescent white tone. I often use it to conceal under-eye darkness or apply it on the bridge of my nose to create the illusion of a higher nose. The coverage isn't particularly impressive... It seems to focus more on its function as a highlighter.
