My skin was breaking out and acne was going crazy, but this product was gentle and seemed to suit my skin well. All my blemishes disappeared and my skin became super smooth. As I have combination dehydrated skin, I'm not sure if it's related, but other creams I've used before left my skin feeling tight no matter how much I applied. With this one, applying it three times feels just right for me. I've heard it's better to layer a gentle product multiple times rather than using many different skincare steps. So, I apply toner, then serum, and finally layer this cream several times - it's perfect! Like others have mentioned, I also wish it came with a spatula. Other than that, I really can't think of any downsides. It's great! - a0**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2022
The absorbs well and absorbs quickly, which made me worry it might be too light. But when I apply it at night and check in the morning, it maintains good hydration considering its texture. My chronic seborrheic dermatitis, which used to flare up every winter and last for ages, was completely resolved after just 3 days of use. It seems incredibly effective for deep dryness. This is the first cream that's solved this issue for me - the Mida Rice Cream. I've struggled with oily creams that just sit on top while my skin keeps flaking, but I'm extremely satisfied with this one. (I've tried about 15 different barrier creams, brightening moisturizers, hydrating creams, aloe gel masks, and other creams, but none showed such dramatic results.) Plus, the ingredients are very skin-friendly. The packaging is the only downside. It would have been perfect with an airless pump bottle. The jar-type container doesn't come with a spatula. In winter, mixing it with oil completely eliminates both deep dryness and surface dryness. For very dry skin, it's also a good method to use as a base cream. - ly*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 22, 2021
I think I used it pretty well. It's moisturizing and feels nice on the skin. While it's a product that might not be polarizing, I wouldn't particularly recommend it. Use it together with a rice water toner. - s5*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2020
The absorption and finish are truly excellent. It seems to have a soothing effect on the skin as well. It's a shame the quantity is so small. However, if you scrape out every last bit, it can last quite a while. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2020
It absorbs well and provides great hydration! I can't really think of any downsides... - el***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2020
It absorbs incredibly smoothly and gently. It's not a thick formula, but rather a hydrating moisturizer! Even on sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any irritation! It's great for everyday use! It absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling! It's not suitable for those with oily skin! After application, there's a slight oily feeling! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 23, 2020
It feels heavy when you first apply it, but once it absorbs, it's light and powdery! It's a great match for someone like me who hates sticky products. There's nothing particularly bad about it, but I'm not sure about its brightening effects. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 19, 2020
This seems to be more suitable for dry skin rather than oily skin! It's not very hygienic without a provided spatula, and a lot of dust gets in. Also, the finish feels greasy rather than moisturizing, perhaps because I have oily skin. It leaves a shiny, oil-like residue on the skin. - yo***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2020
The rice bran extract provides excellent hydration for dry skin. Its absorption is incredible, perfectly addressing deep dryness and helping to cultivate clear, radiant skin. The non-runny texture and smooth application make it easy to use. It glides on softly and feels moisturizing without being overly rich, which I really appreciate. Plus, the generous amount means it'll last for quite a while! The only slight disappointment was the lack of a dedicated spatula. It works best when applied after toner, while the skin is still slightly damp. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2020
The texture is just right - not too thick or too runny. It feels like applying a hydrating moisturizer, making it comfortable to use. While I'm not sure about skin improvement, my skin seems to be getting softer over time! Since there's no spatula included, I have to scoop it out with my fingers, which unfortunately lets a lot of dust get into the product.
