A product specialized in barrier repair! It's perfect for when dry skin becomes rough and flaky. It's got the trifecta of gentle formula, hydration, and soothing power, so it applies smoothly without irritating the skin. Despite being a cream, it doesn't feel heavy, making it ideal for daily use. While it moisturizes, it might be slightly lacking in richness, so those with extremely dry skin may need to apply an extra layer. On days when your skin is particularly dry, it absorbs too quickly, sometimes leaving a dry feeling. Lightly layering it twice keeps your skin hydrated until nighttime with just this one cream. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 14, 2023
It's pleasantly moisturizing and I had a really great experience using it! There wasn't anything particularly disappointing about it, and I think I'll probably buy it again. - 77*****Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 2, 2021
The idea of using it to cool off in summer was so refreshingly innovative! I don't think there was anything particularly disappointing about it. It was pretty decent overall. - ib*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2021
It's IOPE's Derma Repair line, and I expect a soothing effect from the cool sensation of the cica ingredients The ingredients are part of the blue line and it's great for light application, but unfortunately it's been discontinued Use when blemishes appear or when you want a lightweight application - tk*********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 16, 2020
It absorbs well and feels moisturizing when applied. The ingredients are good. It feels like a refreshing, cooling version of a cica cream... It's a bit disappointing that the active ingredients are lower on the ingredient list. Apart from that, I'm still satisfied overall. I apply aloe gel first for soothing, then layer this on top. - to******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAug 23, 2020
If you keep it in the fridge, it's refreshingly cool. That's about... the only positive thing I can squeeze out, to be honest. I bought this trusting it because the Derma Repair Cream worked so well for me, but strangely, this one doesn't suit me. I don't understand why. When I apply it, something feels off. I changed my entire skincare routine during this event, so I'm not sure if it's this cream that's the problem or something else. I plan to try it a couple more times before making a final judgment. However, I did experience some itching when using this product. - ch*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJul 22, 2020
Was this discontinued after a year of sales? What a shame! I even gave it as a gift because it was so innovative. Last year, when icy products were trendy, I put it in the freezer, used it a few times, and then forgot about it. Now I'm using it again this summer. Since it felt a bit heavy on my face, I've been applying it to my body after showering for a refreshing feel. The hassle of having to apply it straight from the freezer. The inconvenience of having to scoop it out with a spatula because it's in a jar. Thanks to these issues, I didn't use it for a whole year... If you've been storing it like I have, don't throw it away! Instead, treat your body to a cool sensation during the summer months. - ji*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 2, 2020
The ingredients aren't bad, so even with my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. When my face gets hot and red in summer, it's perfect for cooling the skin if you keep it in the fridge and use it for that cooling effect. I bought this ice cica cream to use in summer because I love cica cream so much, but it's not as effective as the regular cica cream, so I probably won't repurchase. It's not bad, but not particularly good either...? Just an average product! It doesn't absorb well. After applying, it feels too sticky? Also, while using this didn't worsen my blemishes, I didn't see much of a soothing effect on my skin, so it's a bit disappointing for a cica cream! You can feel an even stronger cooling effect if you use it after keeping it in the fridge~ But for those who don't have a separate cosmetics fridge...! Just a heads up that storing it with food might lead to it absorbing odors. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2020
After washing my face in the morning, I only applied toner and this product. I noticed a significant reduction in acne on my cheeks. Also, when I apply this in the evening, it feels like it's calming my sensitive skin. I really appreciate that soothing effect! I generally dislike the heavy feeling that comes with emulsion creams. When I applied this cold from the fridge, it felt fine. However, when I used it at room temperature, it felt a bit suffocating on my skin. - sl********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 13, 2019
My skin type: Combination oily (sensitive + oily) Texture/Scent/Color: It's a cream that comes with a built-in spatula. The texture is slightly transparent yet white with some viscosity. It's fragrance-free. Application: The IOPE Cica Cream, whether iced or not, doesn't absorb instantly. Apparently, this is because of its natural ingredients. When applied, it initially feels rich and forms a strong barrier. It may leave a white cast, so you need to pay extra attention to absorption. Soothing: This is where I have the most to say. I love IOPE Cica. After briefly trying products from other brands, I realized IOPE Cica was the cream I'd settle on. I chose it for summer, intrigued by its cooling effect when used frozen. Nothing beats its cooling power in the sweltering heat - it puts aloe vera gel to shame! Combining cica and ice, what more could you ask for? It calms redness and prevents heat-induced aging. Despite feeling rich, it didn't cause any blemishes. Hydration: While many use it as a night cream in summer, this cream truly shines on winter mornings. As someone who only applies sunscreen before going out (this applies to those who wear makeup too), using mineral or hybrid sunscreens can feel tight. But! When I applied this cream before sunscreen... wow! Even with a dewy hybrid sunscreen, it absorbed well, gave a glowy finish, and made my skin look great. Most importantly, it doesn't feel tight until the afternoon. It's moisturizing and can withstand winter winds. The hydration power deserves a round of applause! Cons: Too oily. It might be too rich, especially in summer when skin is already oily. If you apply this and go out, it's like an oil field on your face. Still, the hydration is good! Please don't change the formula for a lighter texture - you can't have both freshness and deep hydration. The effective cica ingredients could be higher up on the list. I paid for this, so if it's called 'cica', I wish they'd pack in more cica ingredients. Try using it with Espoir Water Splash Sunscreen. Your skin will improve even without makeup.
