• Gentle on the skin. • No blemishes or side effects. • Light texture, perfect for summer use. • Doesn't cause pilling. • Hydration is somewhat lacking. It wasn't quite enough for winter use. Other than that, I didn't notice any particular drawbacks. Those with blemish-prone skin might find this product suitable. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 19, 2021
I love that the ingredients are high-quality and gentle on the skin. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I don't like products that feel slippery, but if they're too light, my skin gets dry. This product strikes a nice balance! I've been using it year-round. If you have dry skin, you might find it a bit drying during the winter months! - lh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 20, 2020
I love how gentle the ingredients are. Being a gel type, it provides a noticeable cooling effect. It's perfect for those with facial heat or for summer use. Update: With the sudden heat wave, my face became oily and I started getting blemishes. Thinking my usual cream might be too heavy, I tried applying a thin layer of this cream underneath my regular one. It was just right! My blemishes have significantly reduced too! For my acne-prone combination dehydrated skin, it was too drying. The hydration doesn't seem to last long. While there's no deep dryness, I feel tightness on the surface. I absolutely can't use this alone - I have to apply it over an emulsion or top it with another cream. After using this, my forehead acne improved due to less oil, but I got more acne around my smile lines. I found out it might be due to lack of hydration. Even for those with oily skin, this might be too light to use alone! Make sure to apply it lightly after thorough skincare. Instead of applying a lot at once, I found that layering it in thin layers helped maintain moisture better. Why 4 stars: While the ingredients are gentle and it has a cooling effect, the texture is too light for dry skin to use alone, hence -1 star. Total: 4 stars - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 15, 2019
I tried a gel cream formula for the first time with this product, and it was perfect for summer. The texture is absolutely amazing - it's as smooth as applying sorbet and absorbs instantly. There's no stickiness or heaviness at all, and it doesn't pill under makeup - it's seriously awesome. The soothing effect was really impressive too. Even without refrigerating, it gives a cooling sensation on the face. For those with oily skin who are hesitant about using creams, I'd highly recommend trying this type of gel cream. It makes your skin incredibly smooth, prevents inflammatory acne, and keeps you feeling fresh. This summer, even when my skin was producing excess oil, I didn't break out at all! Unlike some soothing gels that feel volatile or alcohol-based, this gel cream feels like it really settles into the skin. The downside is that it provides absolutely no hydration. It's extremely drying. After the autumn storms passed, I put it away in my summer skincare box, waiting for next year's warm weather. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 1, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

As someone with blemish-prone skin, I often find rich formulas suffocating, but this one wasn't sticky at all, which I appreciated. It still provided a decent level of hydration, so it seemed to moisturize well enough. Blemish-Calming Effect While there wasn't a dramatic improvement, I didn't develop any new blemishes, and existing inflammatory spots subsided. It didn't noticeably reduce redness or hyperpigmentation. However, the gentle ingredients seemed to have a calming effect on my irritated skin overall. For my super sensitive skin, I'd say the formula is genuinely good. Not recommended for those who dislike lightweight textures. Personally, I think this cream is great for blemish-prone skin in summer, but it might not be enough on its own for those with dry skin. There's no dramatically impressive effect... That's the only downside... Still, I'm happy just to avoid new blemishes. - ys******Dry SkinRecommendedJul 31, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Before use, I had some minor blemishes and slightly rough skin texture. 1. Gentle formula. It's very gentle. This allowed me to soothe potential breakouts before they fully developed. As my skin has become more sensitive, products with harsh ingredients have been really tough on me. 2. Slight cooling effect. I just stored it at room temperature, so it wasn't extreme, but there was definitely a mild cooling sensation. It's like applying cream that's been slightly chilled by the early morning breeze. This seems perfect for summer use! 3. Quick absorption. It absorbs within 5 minutes after application and gentle patting. There's a noticeable boost in hydration. 1. Quick absorption = Disappointing oil and moisture balance While the fast absorption is nice, it leaves the skin feeling a bit dry. At first, I thought I had rubbed it all off on my pillow while sleeping, but even when I slept carefully the next night, I realized it was just drying out. 2. Packaging The jar-type container means you get a lot of product, but there's a higher risk of bacterial contamination. 3. Hmm... the scent? It's fragrance-free. Some reviews mention a slight scent, but maybe because I'm used to stronger soap scents, I can't really detect anything. This might be great for those who prefer unscented products, but not for those who enjoy a light fragrance. When it felt a bit drying, I tried mixing it with some facial oil, but that didn't work out so well. I think this cream is best used alone or followed by a heavier cream after sun protection. You could also try applying it after using a toner! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 31, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I recently went on a trip, and typically my skin goes haywire when I travel... but this cream helped me barely survive. I'm the type who usually sprays mist and applies a generous amount of aloe, so I loved how well this cream absorbed as the final step. The packaging is also pretty, which gives me a good feeling, you know? I haven't used the product consistently for long, so I don't have much else to say for now! If I have more to add later, I'll update my review. That's all for now! One downside, and I'm not sure if it's just me, is that on days when I apply less aloe or similar products, I sometimes feel a bit of tightness. Other than that... I can't really think of anything else! - dm********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJul 31, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Since it's on the thinner side, I wouldn't recommend it to those who prefer richer formulas. -Scent: Before application, it smells a bit like an eraser pad, but it wasn't overwhelming even for my sensitive nose. The scent disappears after application, so even those with sensitive noses can use it comfortably! -Application: Due to its thin consistency, it's easy to apply smoothly. -Absorption: It absorbs completely into the skin, to the point where you might forget you applied it! The absorption is top-notch. -No stickiness: Right after application, there's an inevitable slight richness, but as time passes, it adheres to the skin, reducing stickiness. Once fully absorbed, your skin feels like its natural self again! -Hydration: I'm not sure if it's just a feeling, but it seems slightly more hydrating than untreated skin. It's better to apply it than not, after all! -It comes with a spatula inside, so you can use it cleanly without contamination! Personally, I think it would work well as a base before makeup. I deducted one point as payback for receiving it late... haha! I'm not sure if other products do this too, but while you can't feel it tactilely, there's a sort of heavy feeling on the skin? It persists for a while. However, the good points outweigh this, and unless you're particularly sensitive, you might not even notice it! I applied it directly to bare skin, which is why I experienced these benefits, but I'm not sure how it would perform after applying other products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 31, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Sorry for the late feedback. My skin type is combination with oily T-zone, lots of sebum and large pores, and extremely sensitive. When choosing creams, I focus on texture and ingredients. I applied for this because the ingredients list looked great overall. The texture is truly like a soothing gel as shown in the photos. It absorbs incredibly fast - the moment you pat it in, you might wonder if you even applied cream! My cheeks tend to be dry, so I layer a slightly richer cream on top after this one. The cooling effect is fantastic. I've been keeping it in the fridge since I got it. The hydration is really good. While I can't speak to its blemish-calming properties as I didn't have any, it's great for soothing redness and heat, especially in this hot weather. I always use this before makeup, then add another layer of cream on dry areas. My makeup has been looking amazing lately! It seems to delay oil production, which is great as I've always struggled with excess sebum. This is truly a product I want to use sparingly - it's the first time I've used something like this and I'm in love! Perfect for summer, though it might be too dry for my skin type in fall or winter. Highly recommend for those with similar skin to mine! If I had to pick one downside, it would be that it can feel a bit drying. Pro tip: If you still want to try it but are concerned about dryness, I'd suggest applying another richer cream on top rather than mixing them. In my opinion, mixing might diminish the benefits of this cream. This is just my personal thought! - ki****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 30, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's essentially fragrance-free. Hydration: As someone with oily skin, I find it's neither too heavy nor drying. It's perfect for daily use. Cica: Surprisingly, the cica ingredients work wonders. The acne on my forehead has subsided, and my skin feels soft and smooth. Absorption: It absorbs well, feeling like you're applying water to your skin. It sinks in quickly. It blends in well, but the cooling effect isn't particularly noticeable.
