I was worried that since it's a clay product, it might be stiff or not absorb well, but that's not the case at all! It applies more creamily than I expected. When I put it on, there's no particular cooling sensation, and I wondered if it would really care for my scalp, but it definitely does. My scalp is sensitive, and my skin tends to develop tiny dead skin cells easily. Sometimes, even after thoroughly washing my hair, it doesn't look completely clean. But after shampooing, squeezing out the excess water, and gently massaging this into my scalp, I found it cleansed my scalp beautifully. I'm so relieved! Also, I like that it's not as slippery as most hair masks. I didn't feel much oiliness, so while rinsing, I thought it might only care for the scalp without much treatment effect. But after drying, I was surprised to see how calm and settled the hair near my scalp looked! It's great that I can use this to care for my scalp separately, unlike conditioners or hair serums that I'm hesitant to apply to my scalp area. I love it! Hmm, I can't really think of any downsides. There's hardly any scent either. - oh****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 19, 2020
I've always struggled with scalp acne, but after using this, it's drastically reduced! Plus, my hair is much less greasy, so I thought, 'Wow, this is amazing for oil control!' My scalp is oily, so I've always avoided treatments and only used clarifying, oil-reducing shampoos. I was worried about my hair texture, but this makes it incredibly soft. I'm very satisfied! The formula disappears quickly when it meets water, so you have to use a lot each time you apply it. It's such a shame! Using it with a deep cleansing shampoo makes my scalp feel even fresher and better! I highly recommend this for those with extremely oily scalps! It works great if you squeeze some into your hand, rub it slightly, and then massage it into your scalp. - ok*******Dry SkinAug 21, 2020
I love home care products that do scalp scaling, so I tried this one. It feels a bit wasteful though. While it does give a refreshing sensation on the scalp, there's no real scaling effect. It does make the hair a bit softer when applied... I use this with the Scalp Expert shampoo, but honestly, I haven't seen any results. It's a shopping fail... I bought it because it was prominently displayed at the drugstore, but I can't shake off the feeling that it's just a marketing ploy. Even if it's pricier, go for well-known and reputable products. There's a reason why they're famous, and products that are too cheap often don't work. No matter how cost-effective something claims to be, remember that the main purpose of using these products is scalp care, right?! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 19, 2020
It's labeled as clay, but the texture is more like a treatment! I was worried it might be too thick and hard to squeeze out, but it's actually more fluid than expected, making it easy to apply to the scalp. It's convenient since it cares for both the scalp and hair in one go, and I love that it's silicone-free! Made in China... This really bothers me. I thought I was buying a German product, but it turns out it's German technology manufactured in China. It just leaves me feeling a bit uneasy...
