I always mix oil into my cream as the final step of my skincare routine, and this is my first time trying plum seed oil. The product is fantastic. I'm really enjoying using it. It's not too oily, and while it's slightly thinner than other oils, it provides excellent hydration. The packaging design is luxurious, and the dropper format makes it convenient to use. While the price is a bit on the higher side, which is slightly disappointing, I have no complaints about the product itself. - bo**********Dry SkinFeb 21, 2021
1) Rich texture: Perfect for dry skin without feeling too heavy 2) Feel: Deeply hydrating and absorbs well into the skin 3) Fragrance: A subtle, pleasant scent 4) Longevity: Keeps skin comfortable until evening 5) Solid ingredient: Pure and simple, no unnecessary additives 1) Price: Over 100,000 won in Korea, and $75 for 30ml in the US. It's on the expensive side. Plum seed oil, known for its skin-protecting properties (8 times more effective than argan oil and 6 times more than marula oil). Many US reviews praise its moisturizing effects and ability to fade blemishes. I've been using it every morning for two months, but haven't noticed much effect on blemishes (though I don't have many to begin with). It costs 140,000 won in Korea and about $75 including tax in the US. By American standards for 'quality oils', it's average department store pricing. Considering that 'good' oils usually cost $70-80+ for 30ml, the US price seems reasonable. However, the Korean price feels steep. I've tried some Korean-made oils that offer great value for money, so the domestic price is disappointing. Overall, it's a 'decent' product. Moisture and richness: Compared to lighter, blended oils, this has a heavier texture. This means you get a more intense hydration from the same amount. While it might seem heavy on your hand, it doesn't feel suffocating on the skin. It balances oil and moisture exceptionally well. Complexion: I didn't notice any significant improvement in skin tone or healthier-looking skin. Amount needed: Due to its richness, you can use less than with other oils. Application: It absorbs really well, leaving skin well-hydrated. Longevity: Keeps skin moisturized until evening. Fragrance: Like plum candy. There's a very subtle plum scent. It's pleasantly fragrant without being overwhelming. Formulation: Just this one product - great! I'm giving it 4 stars for its excellent absorption, skin comfort, and longevity, with good performance in other areas. It's not 5 stars due to its high price compared to similar products. While I'd recommend it based on US pricing, I can't really suggest it at Korean prices.
