It's non-irritating and despite being a toner, it's as hydrating as an essence, which is fantastic. The new packaging is great too - no need to open and close a separate lid anymore. Nothing in particular. Ever since I discovered this product, I've been hooked! I'm already on my fourth bottle because it's so gentle and hydrating. It keeps my skin moisturized throughout all four seasons, without any deep dryness. I decided to try this low pH toner since I heard it's good for the skin. The texture is somewhere between a watery toner and a viscous one, so you can use it with a cotton pad or do the 3-skin method in winter. While using this, I didn't notice any dramatic improvement in my acne or overall skin condition, but I'm satisfied simply because it didn't irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I absolutely love this! The texture isn't watery at all, more like a soothing gel. Just one layer leaves my skin feeling plump and bouncy. Best of all, it doesn't cause any blemishes! If there's one downside, it's the price. I think I paid around 20,000 won for it, which is a bit steep. Using the 3-skin method gives an amazing cooling effect. This toner is more hydrating and moisturizing than traditional ones. It's perfect for combination dehydrated skin. I used to think toners weren't that important, but just switching to this one has significantly improved my skin's oil and moisture balance. I can confidently say there are no downsides. No need to say more - try it yourself. Its runny texture makes it ideal as the first step in a skincare routine for those needing hydration. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it's only available online, not in stores, and it's a bit pricey for a toner. For an extra boost to your skincare routine, try keeping it in the fridge and applying it with a cotton pad. It works hard to strengthen your skin's foundation!

It's mildly acidic, hydrating, and serves as both a toner and skin. I decided to buy this after a beauty YouTuber I follow recommended it. It's a mildly acidic product that works as both a toner and skin. You can use it as a cleansing toner with a cotton pad or apply it directly to your face as a hydrating skin. In the morning, I usually soak a cotton pad generously and wipe my face, then pat it in with my hands. At night, I pour a generous amount into my palms and spread it over my face, then let it absorb. I heard that mildly acidic products are good for atopic skin, so I had tried a famous mildly acidic skin product before. While it was gentle, it was too drying. It felt like it evaporated instantly, and even when I applied a lot, my skin quickly became dry. So I was looking for a new product when my favorite YouTuber recommended this one, saying it helped with dryness. I've used 3 bottles so far, and with the one I've pre-purchased, it'll be my 4th bottle. The texture is somewhere between watery and mucin-like? It's closer to watery, but compared to very runny products, this one has more elasticity. It flows a bit more heavily... but it's much closer to a watery texture than a mucin-like one. It feels so hydrating that it seems more like a cross between a skin and an essence. After using it for a while, you can definitely feel a reduction in dead skin cells. As someone with extremely sensitive and atopic skin who can't use exfoliating products or AHA/BHA, dead skin cells were a big concern for me, and this product has helped alleviate that worry. It seems to help dead skin cells naturally slough off when washing. I can't praise it enough. It's my holy grail. I don't even want to try anything else. I really hope those with atopic and sensitive skin will give this a try. At 22,000 won for 200ml, it's not exactly cheap. But it's so good that the price doesn't even matter. You can buy it in a set of 3 on the Olivebarrier website for a better deal, or if you want to buy individual bottles, you can get them for 20,000 won each on Organic Box.

After some research, I found this at a great price and checked the reviews on Hwahae. Seeing positive feedback from fellow sensitive and dry-skinned users, I decided to give it a try. (Sorry for the long intro!) First off, it's wonderfully hydrating with just a hint of stickiness in the finish. But that's to be expected with a moisturizing product, right? The texture is perfectly balanced - right in between watery and viscous. It's ideal for my dry skin and hasn't caused any issues with my super sensitive complexion. In fact, it's been a savior for my skin when other products have irritated it. Just two nights of using this and my skin calms right down. I love the luxurious look of the bottle too! While I'm thrilled I got it at a discount, I'm planning to repurchase at full price. I think I've found my new staple! Highly recommended for those with dry and sensitive skin! I don't really have any major complaints, but if I had to nitpick... The emulsion is quite runny for its type, so you can't squeeze it out. It flows out more like a toner, so you need to be careful when dispensing. But it's not so watery that you'll accidentally spill it everywhere! Also, while it's not an issue for me, I want to mention for others: If you dislike products with any stickiness, you might want to avoid this. I didn't thoroughly research the ingredients, but if you've used hyaluronic acid toners or emulsions before, expect a similar level of tackiness. My skin is extremely sensitive and dry to the point where I couldn't use regular skincare and even baby emulsions didn't work for me. I have such sensitive and severely dry skin that I've had to resort to using Vaseline. However, this toning emulsion caught my attention when I heard it was gentle enough to be approved by a foreign diaper company, so I immediately bought it for $15. After using it for a week, I noticed a subtle glow on my face, and when I touch my skin, it feels firm and supple! It's so good that I feel like I should be savoring every drop. The downside is that I go through it quite quickly. Since my skin is extremely dry, using this alone can feel a bit insufficient, but layering it multiple times helps. Also, because of its watery consistency, it absorbs very quickly. After cleansing, I apply this three times before using an emulsion, and it makes my skin feel really hydrated! I've included a photo comparing the difference between using this toning emulsion and another product. You can see the subtle glow, right? This is my holy grail toner! I love how gentle it is. My skin doesn't feel dry even when I only use this toner. The only downside was having to wait because it was out of stock. As someone with super sensitive skin, I always had blemishes from department store cosmetics. I used to only use Physiogel cream, but when I needed more hydration, I finally found this product that suits my skin. While my friend says it's a bit rich, for me, who only uses toner and cream for my skincare routine, it perfectly balances the oil and moisture balance. When applying three layers, it absorbs a bit slowly, so it takes a little more time. It's so hydrating that you can adjust between three or seven layers depending on the season, making this the only toner you'll need year-round.
