Natural look - As I sought a more natural appearance, I found myself gravitating towards lighter products. I bought this because it's overall lighter than foundation or BB cream. The most striking feature of this product seems to be its natural coverage and how it absorbs well into the skin. 2. Shade for deeper skin tones - What's more, it has a shade for deeper skin tones that's not commonly found in the market. It felt like a game-changer, so I naturally had to purchase it. 3. Sun protection - Most foundations have low or no SPF, requiring separate sunscreen application. This product, however, has a high SPF, conveniently solving that issue in one step. 4. Hydration - True to its 'moisturizer' name, it provides light hydration. In spring and summer, those with normal to oily skin might find that applying just toner is enough to prevent dryness. One of the biggest advantages of this product seems to be how it reduces the need for multiple skincare steps. I bought this intending to use it as a foundation-free option, but in reality, it's just a foundation with somewhat weak coverage.
m6***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneRecommendedJan 21, 2021 (UTC+0)The color matches well with skin tones around 24-25! At first, I thought it might be too reddish, but as I applied it, it blended seamlessly with my natural complexion. The main advantages are: - The color looks very natural - Provides light coverage for a subtle evening of the skin tone It's perfect for those with good, combination to dry skin. This could be either a pro or a con depending on personal preference: As it's a CC cream, it definitely has a rich feel to it. As someone who prefers a matte finish, I found this a bit disappointing. I discovered some tips while trying to make the most of my purchase: (1) Instead of using a puff, apply it evenly with your fingers. Then, to improve longevity, gently blot the oiliness with oil blotting papers. I found this works better than powder. If you want to prevent transfer to your mask, lightly dust a small amount of powder on top. (2) Mix with a matte foundation If you have a foundation that's too dry, try mixing it with this CC cream. It improves the absorption and application. - kp********Combination SkinAcneDec 12, 2020 (UTC+0)
I have combination dehydrated skin that's prone to blemishes and sensitivity. I decided to try this product after seeing one of my favorite YouTubers use it for a foundation-free makeup look. The main advantages are that it can be used as a sunscreen alternative and has decent staying power. Even when wearing a mask, it stays on my skin despite some transfer! Among drugstore brands, I typically favor Innisfree, but I always realize too late that their base products (excluding skincare) don't suit my skin. Despite its rich texture, it leaves my skin dry, causing dead skin cells to surface. I've also noticed some small bumps forming. Even though it's tinted, the feel on my skin is too heavy and uncomfortable. At this point, I think I'd be better off just using regular foundation instead of this product. - tl****Oily SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2020 (UTC+0)
The ingredients are great! The shade is similar to #23, which matches my warm-toned skin perfectly. It doesn't break down throughout the day. It tends to transfer quite a bit, so setting with powder is absolutely necessary. - ph*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcneAtopic SkinAug 17, 2020 (UTC+0)
User's skin type: Combination sensitive, no blemishes, severe redness. Skincare routine: Only uses no-sebum powder, no basic toner or emulsion. Bought this as a foundation-free option due to prolonged mask wearing. Coverage is decent. Effective for light blemish concealing and suitable as a base product. It's just a base, not truly foundation-free... Starts breaking down after about 30 minutes. Even with no-sebum powder, it's quite rich. Too oily to be considered just a moisturizer. Perhaps that's why it breaks down quickly, even faster with a mask on. Despite using powder, it still transfers to the mask. Really, only use this as a base and I recommend using concealer for a foundation-free look. And make sure to use no-sebum powder! It transferred to the mask overall, but doesn't show up in phone camera pics. This is a photo of my mask after 30 minutes out, using no-sebum powder. No-sebum powder is essential, and apply it frequently. - ho*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcneRecommendedJul 28, 2020 (UTC+0)
It really applies like an emulsion! I usually wear shades 23-25 (my hands are on the darker side), and the color is just right. It goes on with a skin-evening effect. It's great for quickly applying when you need to wear a mask these days. The ingredients are simple and gentle, so you can apply it without worry. It tends to settle into wrinkles. The staying power isn't great, so it fades quickly. However, if you think of it as a sunscreen, it's not bad! Applying it with a brush gives the prettiest finish. - cm****Oily SkinAcneEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 10, 2020 (UTC+0)
Impressive coverage for a base product Creates a natural-looking complexion Absorbs well and feels smooth on application Gets oily even when applied over just toner Setting with powder is a must - pa**********Combination SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2020 (UTC+0)
I'm thrilled they have darker shades! It seems to brighten my complexion a bit, which is great. It works well as sun protection, and it's perfect for a foundation-free look! 1. It does have a slightly dewy finish, which might not be for everyone. I've been using it with powder, and the combination works pretty well for me. 2. I wish the color was a bit more neutral instead of having a pink undertone. - ba*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedFeb 22, 2020 (UTC+0)
The product is moisturizing and absorbs well. While it's not particularly high-coverage, which aligns with its concept, I actually prefer that as a male user. I have dry skin and was looking for a hydrating BB cream that doubles as sunscreen without a matte finish. It's great that it doesn't become patchy over time. My complexion is slightly darker than the average man's, but this product naturally evens my skin tone and provides a brightening effect. It seems perfect for men who want to enhance their appearance subtly. I don't usually get blemishes, so I'm wondering if my cleansing routine was insufficient. However, since using this product, I've noticed small bumps appearing on my skin.
