It's moisturizing and helps with deep dryness. The 200ml size is great for using without worry. It's expensive at full price unless you buy it through Instagram group purchases. There aren't any particular drawbacks. In summer, I'm satisfied using just this product after toner. It prevents dryness without leaving an oily feeling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinOct 14, 2021
Due to prolonged mask use, my redness was severe, so I used this to reduce the heat sensation. It feels moisturizing on combination skin without causing any blemishes. While it doesn't visibly eliminate redness, the large volume makes it great for daily use as an ampoule after toner. With its aloe ingredient, I hoped it would quickly calm the redness caused by mask-wearing, but the effect didn't seem significant. I found that applying two or three layers helped combat deep dryness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2021
It feels refreshing when applied and I'm pleased with its hydration power. Highly recommended! There aren't any particular drawbacks, except that it doesn't absorb well into the hands when applied. - in*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2021
Deeply hydrating and absorbs quickly, eliminating dryness. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. Great value for money with a generous amount of product. If you pat it in too much, it can leave a slightly sticky feeling at the end. - hg*****Combination SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 11, 2020
First off, it's incredibly hydrating. You can snag it at a great price on Instagram or through group buys, and with a generous 200ml, it's a real bang for your buck. The pump dispenser makes it super convenient to use. I've been using it for about 2-3 weeks now, and I can feel my skin becoming moisturized instantly, with a nice cooling effect to boot. Compared to other ampoules, it really seems to tackle that deep dryness. The texture is thicker than your average toner but lighter than a snail mucin formula. I'm definitely planning to repurchase! After checking the ingredients on the Hwahae app, I noticed it does contain some potentially concerning ingredients like fragrance and PEG. However, they're listed towards the end, so I think it should be okay. I haven't experienced any breakouts since using it. Since it's such a large bottle, don't hesitate to add a pump to your modeling masks for extra hydration. It's also great to mix a bit into your sheet masks for an added moisture boost! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2020
I love that it's not sticky, and it definitely leaves my skin feeling fresh and hydrated after application. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. Using the pump dispenser was convenient, so I didn't experience any discomfort while using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 23, 2020
After spending a week in a place with intense heating, my skin became so dry that nothing would absorb, and it felt tight and painful. No matter what I applied, products just sat on top of my skin without sinking in. I consulted with a social media friend I often chat with, and they recommended this product. First off, I love that it's a large size at an affordable price. It's great that I can generously apply three or four layers without worrying about running out. Since using this, I've noticed that my skincare products no longer just sit on the surface but absorb beautifully into my skin. The only downside might be the price on the website when it's not part of a group buy. To be honest, I can't think of a single flaw with this product. I found that keeping it in the refrigerator or using it with a galvanic device improves absorption even more. This is a product I purchased with my own money, and I'm not the type to only praise expensive items or be overly kind in reviews. I genuinely recommend this. By the way, you can sometimes find group buys for this on certain online markets. - he*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2020
I bought this for summer, but I'm really loving it these days! It looks light, but the more you pat it in, the more hydrating it becomes. It's great for combating deep dryness too. I love that it's not heavy, so in the evening I can layer it 2-3 times, follow with a cream, and I'm done! It's simplified my skincare routine, which is fantastic. I'm not sure if it's because my skin condition varies, but when I tried a sample in summer, I felt like something was missing if I applied cream right after this. My face actually felt dry. Ironically, I'm using it better now as the seasons are changing. I wonder if my skin has changed... It's a bit puzzling. I highly recommend keeping it in the fridge and using it cool. It's also amazing when used with a galvanic device! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 3, 2019
This product is top-notch for maintaining hydration. It has a pleasant scent and isn't sticky, yet the moisture lasts incredibly long. When used in the morning, it creates a perfect base for makeup and is ideal for layering. On days off, I just apply this alone, and it provides the perfect balance without feeling heavy. It's a hydrating product I want to keep all to myself. The large size is great value and not burdensome at all - I love it! The limited availability of retailers makes it somewhat challenging to purchase. It works wonderfully when mixed with a cream or applied over a cream that feels too matte. It adds a beautiful glow and keeps the skin feeling hydrated. - je*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 27, 2019
Great for deep dryness. Unlike other products claiming to be hydrating but causing dead skin cells to show when I apply makeup, this one doesn't. It's also excellent for soothing the skin. As someone with combination skin, it works well for me in winter, but feels a bit heavy in summer. Interestingly, I've seen many blog posts recommending it for summer use. It seems the effectiveness varies depending on skin type.
