I received this perfume as a Coming of Age Day gift, and it's not overwhelming at all for someone in their 20s like me. It has a pleasant, feminine scent that I've been using daily with confidence! There wasn't anything particularly disappointing! If I had to nitpick, I'd say it's a shame that the more I use it, the less there is left. Since the fragrance is quite subtle, I prefer to spray it on the inside of my clothes, on my back, and in my hair rather than directly on my skin!

It reminds me of a familiar shampoo scent, but rather than making you feel like you've spritzed on perfume, it gives off more of a hair mist or perfumed shampoo vibe. I personally prefer scents with a slightly more unisex feel, but this one turned out to be more feminine than I expected. It's so girly that I feel like I should be wearing a chiffon dress when I spray it on! - ni******Combination SkinAcneRecommendedApr 28, 2021 (UTC+0)
The scent is gentle on the nose, no matter how often you smell it. It leaves a floral shampoo-like fragrance. I don't prefer sweet scents, but there's a surprisingly strong sweet note at the end. - sk********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 4, 2021 (UTC+0)
The photo shows Belle de Nuit EDP, but I actually preferred the Gold Bottle perfume over the EDP. I'm writing this review for the perfume version. The EDP feels like it's missing something... The scent seems a bit different between the perfume and EDP! Often compared to Dior J'adore and Santa Maria Novella Angels of Florence, but those both have a slight indescribable watery/urine-like scent. Belle de Nuit, however, is slightly more fruity-fresh and prettier. Unlike those two with their cucumber/melon notes, this has no urine-like scent at all - just a truly beautiful shampoo fragrance with hints of soap flowers and plum. There's also a slight, light powdery feel to it. I have all three lines - EDT, EDP, and perfume - but the perfume (Gold Bottle) is really amazing. The longevity is incredible... It's the epitome of pure elegance. It's hard to find stores to sample it, but that means fewer people use it, which is nice. Despite being perfume concentration (stronger than Eau de Parfum), it's priced similarly to Diptyque or Byredo fragrances, which is really great. If you use Belle de Nuit body emulsion and body wash together through a buying service, it's absolutely fantastic.
