The CNP BB cream is absolutely fantastic! Even though the shade was quite light for my complexion (I used #23), it felt less out of place and caused less darkening compared to other products. The staying power is impressive, with no breakdown or caking at all. The one downside is that it can get quite oily. Even after applying powder, oil tends to come through over time, so I had to make sure to bring powder with me when going out. It's great on its own, but I highly recommend mixing it with other foundations you find slightly lacking. This boosts longevity and prevents breakdown, making it an excellent mixing option. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 10, 2021
I've been using this product for a long time. It's great for my sensitive skin as it doesn't cause any blemishes. It seems unavoidable that darkening occurs over time. You'll need to touch up your makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2021
I prefer a natural-looking base makeup, and this product was perfect - it absorbs well and gives a subtle, radiant glow that I really liked. The coverage is a bit lower compared to other products. That's the main drawback for me. - hy********Dry SkinAug 26, 2020
Impressive coverage for a BB cream - it's almost like foundation! The staying power is great too. I apply it in the morning and don't need to touch up all day. It really brightens up my complexion. The texture is quite thick, making it difficult to spread. This BB cream feels like it has no moisture at all - the consistency is very dense. It's quite drying on the skin. While other aspects are good, I rarely reach for it because it's so hard to apply. I usually use shade 21, but shade 1 in this is quite light. There's a slight mismatch with my neck, though not dramatically so. I won't be repurchasing. Might consider it if it were under $10. - pa********Dry SkinJun 7, 2020
I used the product before it was reformulated, and it had great ingredients, coverage, and staying power. Unfortunately, the ingredients seem to have worsened with the reformulation, so I can't recommend it anymore. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2020
1. Deeply hydrating I have combination dehydrated skin with lots of dead skin cells, but after applying this product, I didn't feel any deep dryness even after some time. It also helps minimize the appearance of flaky skin. 2. Gentle on the skin After a bad skin reaction, my skin became super sensitive, and I couldn't use any foundation. Feeling frustrated, I found this product. I've heard that Dr. Jart+ makes good products for acne-prone and sensitive skin, and it seems to be true. While it contains some essential ingredients found in foundations and BB creams, it didn't cause any major issues for my skin despite the number of ingredients. However, as I'll mention in the cons, it's slightly rich in oils, so I did get one or two small blemishes. Still, I think it performed quite well overall. 3. Absorbs well With a creamy texture that's moisturizing and rich, it absorbs really well. It spreads evenly without clumping and applies smoothly. 1. Quite rich in oils As other reviewers have mentioned, it's quite rich in oils, so the staying power isn't great. After about 3-4 hours, I noticed it breaking down significantly in my oily T-zone. It looked a bit like an oil slick... haha. The drier areas like my cheeks were fine though. While it might be okay in the cold, dry autumn and winter, I'm afraid it'll be difficult to use in early summer when it gets hot. 2. The shade is dark As expected from a BB cream, it has a grayish tone. Even the lightest shade #1 is quite dark. For reference, I have a yellowish-reddish complexion around shade 17. The grayish tone seems to neutralize the redness, but it doesn't give a bright look at all - it's extremely natural-looking. But I guess this is a characteristic of BB creams, so it's hard to call it a real con. Please refer to the attached photo for the color! The circled one is this BB cream, the one on the right is Dior Forever Skin Glow in PO-01, and the one on the left is Clé de Peau Cream Foundation in I10! - dk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2020
It's quite hydrating and has a natural color. For combination skin, it has good staying power except during summer. The best part is that it doesn't separate over time. Even when I apply a moisturizing foundation, it tends to separate a bit after a while, but this BB cream doesn't! The staying power decreases in summer. Don't expect incredible coverage, but it does cover minor blemishes and redness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2020
My face looks radiant, and most importantly, it didn't cause any blemishes for my sensitive skin, which I really loved. I highly recommend it! The scent was also nice, and the staying power seems pretty good. On my skin, it tends to turn grayish and look patchy over time. Remember, results may vary from person to person after applying the Chae & Park BB cream! This could become your holy grail BB cream if you give it a try! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2020
It's moisturizing and has great coverage. I've been using this product for years. There's a slight darkening effect. Even shade #1 is a bit dark. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedMar 19, 2020
As someone with acne-prone skin, I decided to try this product. I'm happy to report that it didn't cause any blemishes, absorbs well, and the coverage isn't bad at all! There's not really anything I dislike about it, except maybe that it tends to separate a bit as time goes on.
