It did cleanse gently, which could be useful when your skin is irritated or super sensitive Apart from being mild, it wasn't particularly impressive for me. It was just okay - th******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 8, 2023
I use this after my cleansing foam for an extra cleanse. I work up a rich lather, wait a bit, then rinse. It's really soothing on my heated skin and feels quite comfortable. You can find it at a great price if you shop around, so it's not a burden on the wallet. While it's a bit soft, the bar is quite large, so I'm using it generously. I love that it contains both BHA and tea tree, which is perfect for my blemish-prone skin. The lather does diminish as the bar gets smaller. However, this can be easily solved with a foaming net, so I don't consider it a major drawback. Being a soap, it doesn't offer dramatically miraculous soothing effects, which is to be expected. I'm just using it as part of my overall acne management routine. A foaming net is absolutely essential. Make sure to store it in a well-draining soap dish to prevent it from softening too quickly. - eu*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 29, 2022
Texture: It's in a bar form like regular soap, but when you cut it in half with a utility knife, it slices very smoothly. Even when dry, it's a bit on the softer side. Usage experience: I've been using it cut in half and placed in a soap net. It lathers really well and has good cleansing effectiveness. What I love most is the refreshing, squeaky-clean finish without feeling dry and tight, or slippery on the other hand! I was worried that since it cuts so easily with a small knife when dry, it might get too soft when wet, or that it would dissolve faster than I could use it. But when I hung it in a soap net, the water drained well, so it didn't get excessively soft. I often have skin flare-ups during seasonal changes (super sensitive skin), but I haven't had any skin issues while using this. I think it might be suitable for most acne-prone or sensitive skin types without much trouble. Scent: I've used Sumbymi's toner, serum, and oil, and this has the mildest scent of them all. It doesn't smell like tea tree, and while it's not exactly fragrant, the scent is so subtle that I didn't find it bothersome during use, though opinions may vary. Is this price for real at this volume? No matter how good the product is or how much it's discounted, I find this price level very hard to accept. I'm only using it because I received it as a gift. If I were buying it myself, I absolutely wouldn't purchase it. - pa*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 30, 2021
As someone with acne-prone skin, I noticed a significant improvement after using this product for a while. It was particularly effective for those tiny bumps (whiteheads). While the effects do diminish over time, it was quite impressive initially. The main issue is storage. Since it's a bar soap, you'll need to cut it to use it longer. If you leave it in the bathroom for too long, it doesn't lather as well, so it might be good to use with a foaming net. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 4, 2020
I have dry skin with blemishes, but this cleansing bar leaves my skin incredibly clean. After using it, my face feels refreshed and my complexion looks great! I bought the smaller size from the start, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, I have no complaints. Make sure to double cleanse before using! First, use a cleansing oil on your face, then follow up with this cleansing bar. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2020
Great for sensitive skin. I bought it because it's supposed to be good for blemishes and folliculitis, but it's actually better for dead skin cells and blackhead care. It lathers well, and I didn't experience much dryness. Perhaps because it's a soap, it wears down quickly. There's nothing particularly bad about it, but I haven't seen any significant effects, so I probably won't continue using it. You can make it last longer by cutting it into smaller pieces. Using it with a foam net creates much more lather. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 13, 2020
I've purchased this product three times now. I'm surprised it's not ranked higher on Hwahae! It's gentle, and when used with a foam net, it lathers up beautifully. Sometimes I try to save product by lathering with just my hands, which isn't bad either. The scent is lovely too. The cleansing effectiveness might be a bit weak, but I still liked it! - sw**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedOct 15, 2019
This product has been so effective for removing dead skin cells and treating blemishes that I'm already on my third repurchase. Even without using a separate peeling gel, I could feel my skin becoming smoother and more refined as it removed dead skin cells. My blemish-prone skin calmed down, and the frequency of breakouts significantly decreased. It also worked wonders on neck and back blemishes, so I use it on my body too! As it's a product that exfoliates, it can cause a slight tingling sensation when used on days when your skin is super sensitive. Also, it doesn't lather much on its own, so you'll need to use a foaming net to create rich bubbles. For best results, use a foaming net to create a rich lather, then apply it to your face like a mask for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. This helps with removing stubborn dead skin cells. Since it's soap, it softens quickly, so divide it into about 4 pieces and use a soap holder to keep it clean and make it last longer. - bi*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 19, 2019
I absolutely cannot recommend this product enough! It's my all-time favorite soap, and I'm already on my second bar. The most impressive thing is that it genuinely has a brightening effect! That's why I always use this soap as part of my shower routine. It can leave your skin feeling a bit dry, so you might need to follow up with a moisturizer. As for its cleansing effectiveness, I'd say it's about average. - si**********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 3, 2019
It clears up those tiny blemishes and refines skin texture!! I've been using it consistently since I first tried it early last year, probably gone through about 5 bars. I suppose it's a bit more inconvenient than foam cleansers, since it's a bar soap. But the product itself has no drawbacks. Please use it a lot so it doesn't get discontinued... It's the first time I've used something and felt so certain that it's all thanks to this product. I love it so much!
