I'm not sure how many Hwahae Testers I've used. The soft white light that comes back evens out the skin tone and just uploading this makes my face look brighter. It's not cool-toned, but a deep autumn warm tone, and it still works. I recommend that those who are not cool-toned try it as well. There are no particular shortcomings. The product packaging is neat but seems to lack appeal. The one I purchased this time has a slightly weak back, and the lid fell off, but this is the first time it's happened, so the case doesn't seem to be weak. Try layering the Orchid Rumor color palette on its own as well as using it as a base blush. - ek***Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 22, 2025
The SAEM Saemmul Blush in Orchid Rumor Review 💜✨ Review: A delicate and subtle lavender-pink blush! It's perfect for cool-toned skin, creating a bright and fresh look 💖 The color payoff isn't overwhelming and applies transparently, making it easy for beginners to use without worry. There's minimal excess powder and it blends smoothly, so you can layer it without clumping. However, the color is on the lighter side, so it may appear differently depending on your complexion! Overall Assessment: Pros: ✅ Achieve a sophisticated makeup look with the bright lavender-pink color 💜 ✅ The transparent color payoff allows for a natural-looking application ✨ ✅ Smooth texture with minimal powder fallout ☁️ ✅ Blends naturally even with multiple layers, without clumping 💖 Cons: ⚠️ The light color may show differently depending on skin tone ⚠️ While it suits cool tones well, it might look a bit unnatural on warm-toned skin ⚠️ It's not a type that gives vivid color in one application, so you need to layer for more visible color The color is on the lighter side, so it may appear differently depending on your complexion. Especially on warm-toned skin, it might give a slightly grayish appearance, so it's recommended to test before purchasing! My Pro Tips! 💙 For a sheer look → Lightly sweep with a brush 🖌 💙 To enhance the color → Apply blush right after foundation ✨ 💙 To complete a cool-toned makeup look → Match with a lip tint in the same tone for a sophisticated look 💄💜 This blush can give a bright, lively look without fail for cool-toned skin! Just be aware that since it's a light color, the appearance may vary depending on your complexion 💦 - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 9, 2023
This is truly the gold standard for cool tones! The affordable price makes it perfect for students to use. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of excess powder and clumping. - ch*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 19, 2023
The color payoff is fantastic, and the shade is perfect for cool-toned individuals. It really brightens up your complexion and makes your face look more radiant. There's a bit of excess powder fallout, and it can be somewhat fragile and prone to breaking. - ci****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessOct 29, 2022
• Adheres well to the skin • Absorbs smoothly • Beautiful color • Has some excess powder fallout • As it's a blush with some shimmer, it can settle into fine lines a bit - qh******Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 23, 2022
It has a pearlescent finish and gives a noticeable brightening effect. The purple tint isn't overpowering, resulting in a subtle, natural-looking color payoff. It has a distinct scent, but it's not unpleasant and fades away after a while. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2022
I was looking for a lavender color and found this product from The Saem. The pigmentation is nice, and it definitely gives a soft, rosy glow when applied to the cheeks. If you want a subtle color, one or two swipes with a brush should do the trick. For a stronger, more radiant look, try three or four swipes. Just be careful not to overdo it, as too much can make you look a bit sickly or give your complexion an odd appearance. As you can see in the photo, there's a significant amount of excess powder fallout... It might have been better if it came in a baked formula. For best results, apply primer after your skincare routine, then foundation, before using this blush. It really helps the color show up better. Remember, less is more - too much color can make your cheeks look disconnected from the rest of your makeup. - ol******Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 31, 2022
Started writing this review because I couldn't sleep! There's a pearlescent finish. I wasn't a fan at first, but decided to overlook it. The color is about 80% white-tinted lavender and 20% pink. Think of it as an almost white lavender. Surprisingly, when applied over redness, it gives just the right amount of radiance. It also looks pretty when mixed with a pink blush. Seems like it would work nicely as an eyeshadow too. Though I decided to overlook the pearlescent finish, it seems this is best used only when your skin is in good condition. It tends to emphasize texture and pores a bit. The high white content might have suited better if my skin was fairer. When applied without any underlying redness, it just makes me look pale and floaty, so controlling the amount is crucial. Update: The emphasis on texture and pores is too severe. As I continued using it, I noticed it also has some excess powder fallout... sigh. Recommended for mixing with other products. Suggested for use as eyeshadow. Amount control is essential. Consider buying during a sale. - wb******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2022
The price is really affordable. I wasn't sure if purple blush would suit me, so I bought this as a test. The color builds up naturally. No matter how much you apply, it never looks harsh - just a subtle, lovely purple hue. The shimmer is also delicate, making it perfect for those who find bold purple blushes intimidating. When applying with a brush, there's a lot of excess powder that flies off. Every time I touch the brush to it, I'm surprised by how much powder gets airborne. Some might find the color payoff a bit weak due to its natural finish. It looks beautiful when lightly layered over other blushes. - lm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 29, 2021
The SAEM Orchid Rumor blush is quite famous, and I've known about it for a while. I hadn't bought it because I already have too many blushes at home, and I often skip blush when wearing a mask. But curiosity got the better of me, and the price was so reasonable that I decided to give it a try. It's a beautiful lavender-colored blush with subtle shimmer. You know how sometimes when you have redness, even cool-toned pink blushes can make your skin look flushed and warm? Well, this purple-tinted blush actually neutralizes redness, creating a soft, rosy glow. That's why I'd recommend this lavender blush to anyone dealing with redness in their complexion. There's a bit of excess powder kick-up, and it doesn't really have much of a pore-blurring effect. I think this would look particularly beautiful on those with redness in their skin.
