When mixed with a matte foundation that sets firmly like Double Wear in summer, it improves both staying power and application. But the best part is how it breaks down! As it wears off and mixes with your skin's natural oils, it actually makes your complexion look better. Unlike Double Wear, which can break apart in patches, this blend wears off more naturally, making it a summer essential. If you don't blend it properly, the color capsules won't burst, leaving red and black spots on your skin. You need to pat it in thoroughly or massage it until all the color capsules have burst and it's fully absorbed into your skin. Try mixing this with a heavy-duty matte foundation (like Double Wear, Laneige Neo, Hera Black, or Espoir Be Velvet) in a 2:1 ratio of foundation to this product. The results are incredible! - js**********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 2, 2025
As someone prone to redness, I find this cream applies more smoothly than others and offers excellent coverage. It's so good that just applying this alone gives me a beautifully made-up complexion - truly impressive! I can't really think of any downsides, except perhaps that it's a bit on the pricier side? It works wonderfully even when you just pat it on with your fingers! - hm******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2025
I've been using this product consistently for two years. For skin reddened by blemish marks, there's nothing quite as effective in terms of coverage. The slight richness helps fill in pores and makes the skin texture look smoother. When it comes to concealing redness and improving skin texture, this is the best. For those with oily skin, the rich texture might be a bit much, but it works well if you set it with powder or use a small amount combined with foundation. Applying a thin layer first, then following up with foundation on top, helps control the richness and gives a nice finish. - rl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 18, 2025
(My own purchase) My skin type has changed from oily to sensitive. Now, if I use even slightly incompatible cosmetics, my face breaks out with blemishes the next day, and I experience redness in the butterfly zone. I don't typically apply heavy makeup, so I've been using only the Espoir Be Natural Cushion. However, since it's a light coverage cushion, it doesn't conceal much of my redness. As the weather's getting warmer, I was searching for a product to cover my redness and found this one. I bought it from Olive Young. It comes in 15ml and 45ml sizes, and I opted for the smaller one first to test it out before committing to the larger size. The scent reminds me of my mother's cosmetics from when I was young - you'll know what I mean when you smell it! It applies smoothly with just your fingers, no tools needed. There might be slight finger marks when spreading, but they disappear with gentle patting. Interestingly, although it's a mint-colored cream, it adapts to your skin tone as you apply it. Rather than brightening, it evens out the complexion, making the skin look better and effectively concealing redness. This being my first color correcting cream, it was quite a revelation! Due to its low SPF, I layer it in this order: skincare > brightening moisturizer with SPF > CC red correct cream. It hasn't caused any blemishes, so I'm 100% going to repurchase. While I really like the product and it works well, the price is quite steep for the amount you get... Since it has a low SPF, it's best to apply sunscreen first, then the CC correct cream. Applying with your fingers works best! - jx***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2025
While it doesn't provide heavy blemish coverage, it evenly and reliably covers redness in the complexion. Its smooth application is a plus, allowing you to quickly finish your base makeup by simply blending it with your fingers. It gives quite a glow, so you'll need to set it with powder around the nose, smile lines, and outer edges of the face. I didn't feel like it triggered any blemishes. Since you need to burst the capsules, avoid using a puff and instead apply it by rubbing it in with your hands. - jo******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 2, 2025
First off, this product absorbs well and doesn't leave any green or white residue. Instead, it naturally blends into the skin with a beige tint that transforms to match your complexion. I love how it subtly covers redness. Some color correctors tend to sit on top of the skin, but this one doesn't. It seamlessly integrates like a natural base, which I think is its biggest strength. It applies smoothly and feels hydrating without pilling, making it an excellent base to use before foundation or cushion. The ingredients aren't the best, so those with super sensitive skin might experience blemishes. I strongly recommend patch testing or starting with a smaller size before committing to a full-sized product. - ru********RecommendedMay 30, 2025
I've been using this for about 6 months, and it's amazing at covering redness. It's so effective that I can confidently wear it alone on bare skin. I've really enjoyed using it. I feel like my pores are getting clogged, but I'm not sure if it's because of this product. However, since the ingredients aren't great, I'm currently suspicious that it might be the cause. The translation maintains the original meaning while adapting it to sound more natural in English. Key cosmetic terms like "redness" and "pores" from the synonym list were incorporated. The emoji was removed and replaced with appropriate phrasing. - dl*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 16, 2025
Last year, I went through a difficult time due to steroid rebound symptoms, and although I'm not fully cured, I'm left with only flushing and extreme dryness. Until now, any sunscreen or base makeup I used would cause my skin to peel, but this product did not. The product itself has a milky feel, and it applies smoothly without irritation. I intend to repurchase this product. The price is high compared to the capacity, and the ingredients are not great. That's disappointing. Also, the effects don't seem to last very long. The product itself does not feel extremely moisturizing, but it helps maintain the level of hydration from the skincare base I apply prior to using it. The more thoroughly I apply my skincare base, the better the hydrating effect of the product. - da******Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 11, 2025
This feels like a gentle sunscreen with a touch of coverage added! I love that it has good staying power and minimal transfer. It's perfect for days when you want to skip foundation and just wear sunscreen! I'm using it as a makeup base. One small tube lasts me a little over a month. The packaging is a bit disappointing. When I'm almost finished with the product, it's hard to control the amount that comes out - even when I try to squeeze just a little, a lot comes out at once, making it difficult to manage the quantity. - rm********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 9, 2025
