The formula is a gel-like consistency with a milky white, slightly opaque appearance. The scent is a delightful blend of subtle floral notes and white musk, creating a sophisticated and gender-neutral fragrance. Personally, it's the most appealing shampoo scent I've encountered, exuding a luxurious feel. To use, I pump out an appropriate amount and massage it into my wet hair. It lathers up nicely, creating just the right amount of foam. When rinsing with lukewarm water, there's absolutely no residue or unpleasant feeling left behind. The finish leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. I'd recommend this product to users with all hair types, except perhaps those with extremely oily scalps. Even when my hair was quite greasy, it cleansed thoroughly without leaving any residue. I noticed that after rinsing, my hair felt a bit softer than usual. However, given its high price point, I was disappointed that it didn't deliver immediate, noticeable improvements in hair condition. I received this as a gift and gave it a try. The biggest advantage was the scent - it has a luxurious white musk fragrance. It's also nourishing, making my hair noticeably softer. The most disappointing aspect is the price. It's hard to justify purchasing it regularly for everyday use. I got to try the Balmain shampoo as a hotel amenity. At first, I didn't know much about it, but it turns out the brand itself is quite famous. I had high expectations for this hair care product from Balmain and was excited to try it out. First off, the 50ml size of both the shampoo and conditioner I tried seems perfect for travel. Let's talk about the product experience. The standout feature is definitely the fragrance. It's truly remarkable among the many shampoos and conditioners on the market. To me, it's reminiscent of Moroccan oil hair oil - a bit unisex with woody notes and a hint of musk. While fragrance can be subjective, I personally loved it. Using the shampoo and conditioner together left a long-lasting scent in my hair. The shampoo doesn't produce an abundance of lather, but I found its cleansing effectiveness to be quite good, so I was satisfied. However, I didn't immediately notice any improvements in hydration, nourishment, cuticle repair, or reduction in static electricity from using these products. While the ingredients aren't completely gentle, I appreciated the inclusion of beneficial components for hair like Vitamin E and silk amino acids. It's also paraben-free and preservative-free, which shows attention to the formulation. I'd love to try the full-size products and use them more consistently over a longer period. This is hands down the best shampoo I've ever used for making my hair soft, and it smells amazing too. I use it with the matching conditioner. My hair used to be so damaged that I couldn't go without a treatment, but now this shampoo and conditioner duo is all I need for my daily routine. Perfect for those busy mornings! I have to say, the amount you get for the price is a bit on the small side. And it seems the ingredients aren't exactly top-notch, if you know what I mean. This moisturizing shampoo is not only hydrating but also nourishing. It really leaves my hair feeling soft and more manageable. The size is quite small, so I'm always anxious about using it up quickly and try to use it sparingly. I wish they had a 1000ml size like Aveda. It might not be suitable for those who prefer more volume in their hair. I tried it along with a sheet mask and it works well together.
