The Hwahae Testers report that it has good coverage and adheres well. It also provides good sun protection, which is great. The color was a bit on the darker side and seemed to have a grayish tint, which was a bit disappointing. - Gu***********Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 24, 2024
Even with the upgrade, this product is still perfect for me! I received the darker shade. It provides good coverage and feels a bit sticky, like it has some oil content. It might not be ideal for those with very oily skin, but for my combination skin, it works well without causing any blemishes. However, I usually use shade 21, so it's a shame! The color turned out to be much darker than I expected... I'm quite disappointed. Missha's top product. When it comes to BB creams, Missha really is the best. Other brands tend to look cakey and don't adhere well to my skin, but Missha's just melts right in. - rt****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 11, 2024
Remembering how great my skin was during middle school when I used BB cream, I decided to buy one again. For reference, the BB cream I used back then was Tony Moly's Goddess Glow. This time, I chose Missha's Perfect Cover BB Cream after debating between that and the Cho Bo Yang line. I got a great deal on Tmon, purchasing it for around 6,000 won. My skin tone is #21, and I bought both #13 and #21 to use together. Firstly, the coverage is decent. Personally, I had high expectations for coverage, so I was a bit disappointed, but objectively speaking, it provides adequate coverage. For those wondering what 'adequate coverage' means: one layer evens out the skin tone lightly but doesn't cover dark circles, redness, or scars. Two layers can cover most redness, but dark acne scars and dark circles remain visible. Naturally, #21 offers better coverage, while #13 is lighter and provides less coverage. I didn't notice significant darkening, probably because I use #13 and #21 together. If you're worried about darkening or a grayish cast, I recommend buying #13 as well. The adherence is good, and it applies very thinly, making it comfortable and lightweight on the skin. When I applied it right after my birch-derived organic sunscreen, it left finger marks and didn't adhere well. If you use an oily sunscreen, wait for it to absorb before applying the BB cream. Color-wise, #13 is pretty and gives a bright look. It's light, but I didn't notice any grayish cast on my skin. It felt more like a white CC cream. Of course, there was no skin irritation or acne breakouts. I didn't experience any increase in sebum production or blackheads either. This BB cream seems most suitable for oily or acne-prone skin types. The grayish cast is unavoidable with BB creams as it's part of how they cover redness. It's not extremely noticeable, but there's a significant difference in color compared to foundation. #21 has a grayish tone, while #13 doesn't and looks more like a CC cream. The skin finish isn't particularly beautiful, so it's not ideal for full makeup looks. After wearing it for a while, your skin might look dry and flaky. Even though I don't feel dry, when I look in the mirror, my skin appears dehydrated and flaky, as if I haven't exfoliated. I wouldn't recommend this for dry skin types. In conclusion, purchasing #13 along with #21 was an excellent choice. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 28, 2023
It's so moisturizing that there's very little flaking or emphasis on dead skin cells! The coverage is also great, so it's not difficult to conceal most facial blemishes! The color tone...? The staying power...? It has a slightly dull, ashy tint and doesn't last very long. Shade 27 has less of an ashy tone! Applying powder after the BB cream improves its staying power. - 01*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJan 29, 2023
Great coverage, absorbs well, and the price is a steal! Being a BB cream, it darkens over time, giving a grayish tint to the skin - so*****Combination SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2021
I love how it naturally evens out my skin tone. The brightening effect lasts for a long time, which is fantastic! They say it's supposed to improve skin recovery, but I haven't really noticed much of a difference. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 27, 2021
I've been using this since high school, for almost 10 years now! Even though I have dry skin, it keeps me moisturized and suits me well. The coverage is also great, so I always use it. It rarely looks cakey or patchy on my skin. Although I've always used this, after checking the ingredients through the Hwahae app, I realized they're not that great. As I'm raising a baby now, it's making me a bit concerned. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinApr 6, 2021
As someone with dry skin, I often experience foundation looking patchy. However, by spraying some mist on the puff before application, it didn't look cakey at all! The coverage isn't bad, though I wouldn't say it provides exceptional coverage (this could be due to using the mist-sprayed puff). Unfortunately, after some time, the foundation tends to turn a grayish tone, which was disappointing. For me, the pilling was quite noticeable! - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedFeb 1, 2021
My mother always uses this product, and she says it brightens her complexion with long-lasting coverage! Since I don't use it myself, I'm not really sure about its performance...
