I've been using this daily since 2013. For someone like me who struggles with blemishes and excess oil, this has been a reliable, no-fuss toner. 1. When I first bought it, I couldn't get used to the scent for about a month. It had a strange, bothersome smell, but once I adapted, it wasn't an issue anymore. 2. I've used it for a long time, but the price keeps increasing... Now I only buy it when it's on sale. - sk******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 25, 2016
As someone with oily yet dehydrated skin, I bought this for hydration. I'm really pleased with how it moisturizes without feeling sticky or heavy. Well... the only downside is the small amount you get for the price. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 5, 2016
Well... I'm curious. It's just a basic toner. Why does it sting so much... My face feels really hot. But it's not causing any breakouts. My skin is dry and I rarely get blemishes, maybe one a month. I do have a few milia, though. When I use Missha products, something tends to flare up, it seems a bit harsh. This product also stings too much... but it doesn't cause any breakouts. Since you shouldn't rub your skin with a cotton pad when applying toner, I tend to use it generously to keep my skin moist. Maybe I'm using too much? I don't know what the problem is... I've been using it every other night, but now it stings so much that I can't use it anymore. - jw***Dry SkinSensitive SkinSep 16, 2016
I bought this Polachoice toner without even checking the ingredients, trusting their gentle image. The scent and texture are pretty standard. But wait, has it been discontinued? As soon as I started using it, I felt a burning sensation around my nose and mouth. I've been trying it on and off for a few weeks, but it keeps happening, so I've pushed it to the back of my shelf. I think there might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with me, or maybe my skin is just too dry for it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 11, 2016
I tried this Paula's Choice product on my senior's recommendation, and it worked well for me without any irritation! The price isn't exactly budget-friendly, so I'm looking for alternatives. But it's surprisingly challenging to find fragrance-free cosmetics... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 24, 2016
Among the Paula's Choice products I've tried, this one stands out with its exceptional absorption. It sinks right into the skin after application. I bought the full set because it was said to have good sebum control and hydration, but don't set your expectations too high. The oily and patchy skin condition still persists. It's best to purchase this during a sale. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 5, 2016
It was gentle with no irritation and had just the right amount of hydration - quite nice! I have super sensitive skin and can't use just anything, but this was truly mild! It's really a great product, but the price is a bit steep... It's best to pair the emulsion and toner together, but matching them up is quite costly for a student - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 5, 2016
My sister who used it with me loves it and keeps using it. She says it's gentle on the skin. I've had bad reactions to exfoliating products before, and this time using the toner caused another flare-up. My face turned red, my eyelids swelled up, and I experienced itching, burning, and stinging sensations. It seems this product doesn't agree with my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 26, 2016
The fact that Paula's Choice is a brand you can trust and rely on... However... I have sensitive skin, and when I use this, my face turns red and has a burning sensation. It seems this is better suited for people with healthier skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 26, 2016
After my skin adjusted, it was pretty good. I think my blemishes might have decreased a bit. But I used it with BHA, so it could be the BHA effect. When I first used it, I thought my skin was burning. I figured it was just my super sensitive skin not adapting, so I applied it every 2-3 days. Now I can use it daily without issues. I'm not sure if this was the right choice, though. I switched to another alcohol-free product, and it was so much better with no irritation. I haven't even finished this one, it's just sitting unused now.
