This cushion claims to have a cooling effect that lowers skin temperature. While I'm not sure if it actually reduces skin temperature, its great ingredients mean I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation! The case is absolutely gorgeous and looks luxurious. The scent isn't harsh at all - it's truly fresh and herbal, just like its name suggests. I love that it has a metal cover to maintain hygiene and prevent moisture loss. It's perfect for acne-prone and sensitive skin. As someone with redness and frequent breakouts, I found it covers almost everything without needing concealer. The subtle glow makes my complexion look amazing! If there's one downside, it's that the high coverage can make it look a bit matte. It can clump if you layer it, so it's best to apply thin, even layers for a beautiful finish. Given its high coverage, it's crucial to control the amount you use with this cushion. After gently pressing the puff, don't just spread it in one area. Instead, distribute it across several spots on your face to avoid pilling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 13, 2021
My skin doesn't feel suffocated. The coverage is average. I'm not sure if there's anything particularly good about it though? It doesn't give a glow. Maybe because I've only used dewy cushions before, but instead of looking matte, it makes my skin look dry and dull. It's my first time using it today, so I'm not sure what to expect. Rather than whitening, it feels like it brightens the skin just a tiny bit? Even after applying, I look like I'm bare-faced. I wanted to try the red one, but it was sold out. If anyone has tried the red version, please let me know how it is! - ch******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2020
1. The hexagonal cushion pad makes it easy to apply evenly, reaching every nook and cranny. 2. The shade matches well with my complexion. 3. While it may not fully conceal severe blemishes, it does a good job of covering basic acne. 1. Due to its matte finish, it can accentuate dead skin cells if not applied correctly. 2. Layering too much product on areas that aren't well-covered can lead to pilling. 1. For oily T-zone and U-zone areas, apply a small amount on the back of your hand first to reduce pilling. 2. For dry areas, spritz some facial mist for hydration before application to ensure a smooth, natural finish. - ka*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsNov 27, 2020
I ended up using this product after receiving it! 1. Ingredients The ingredients are great! This might be good for those who prioritize ingredients over performance. This seems to be the most important advantage. To be honest, this is why I'm giving it 2 stars... haha 2. Thin application It doesn't feel heavy on the skin, so it might be good for those who dislike the stuffy feeling of thick layers. 1. Impractical design... Honestly, while the case itself is pretty, the added plastic engraving makes it quite bulky. Cushions are usually carried around, so it's disappointing that it's quite voluminous. 2. Puff This is related to the design - the puff is octagonal. It's convenient for makeup around the lips, but the puff itself is so poor quality that it's hard to find a suitable replacement... The puff doesn't distribute the product evenly. 3. Patchiness, No coverage At first, I had such severe patchiness that I even bought and used an exfoliator, but it turns out it's a problem with this cushion... Despite not being what you'd call a moisturizing type, it doesn't offer high coverage either. 4. Price Despite these numerous drawbacks, the price is quite high... Update: The puff!! Use a different puff. I use the multi-sectioned puffs from Daiso and it works well. I apply the product to my skin with the original puff and then pat it in with a different puff. It's quite usable this way. I was disappointed because the ingredients are good, but using it like this makes it okay. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 19, 2020
It feels refreshing and seems great for blemish-prone skin. There was absolutely zero irritation. Plus, it's really hygienic. If I had to nitpick, I prefer a snow-white cushion, and this one isn't quite that light. - cs*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2020
The star-shaped cooling plate makes it hygienic and special to use. While the coverage and adherence are average, it gives a natural glow that makes your skin look great. It's a cushion that enhances your complexion, you could say. I expected a cooling sensation when applying it because it claimed to have a cooling effect, but the cooling wasn't very noticeable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 22, 2020
I have sensitive, combination dehydrated skin prone to redness. Using this product, I noticed no blemishes appeared at all. My skin didn't feel suffocated, but rather comfortable! It doesn't apply thickly, and even a small amount provides good coverage. Hydration & Moisture: ●●●●○ - It's moisturizing! There's also a slight glow. It's not an intense dewy finish that transfers, but more of a subtle radiance? It adheres well to the skin without looking cakey, maintaining a good moisture level. Eye Irritation & Sensitivity: ○○○○○ - There's absolutely no irritation, it applies comfortably to the skin. Application: ●●●●● - Even a small amount spreads well and feels like it's adhering nicely to the skin! Makeup Pilling & Emphasizing Dead Skin Cells: ●○○○○ - Even with minimal skincare and no base makeup, it didn't emphasize any flakiness. It applies really well! Finish & Feel: ●●●●○ - The finish has a slight radiant glow without feeling heavy. Price and Value: ●●●○○ - It's a bit expensive, but refills are available. It feels really good on the skin, and the next day I had less redness and no blemishes compared to other makeup. If you're willing to invest in your skin... I recommend it. The coverage is good too. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 1, 2020
It absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling comfortably moisturized. I love how it effectively covers pores. If you gently pat it around the nose area, those pores disappear like magic! It applies thinly, so I'd recommend this to anyone who prefers a natural makeup look. The packaging... it's too big and clunky. I wish it was more streamlined and slimmer. They emphasize the cooling effect, but honestly, I can't really feel it. - da*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAug 31, 2020
The case has a unique and pretty design (though it's a bit bulky). When applying makeup, it feels cool and moisturizing, and the scent isn't overpowering, so it's not off-putting. It's quite hydrating, making it suitable for dry skin. The puff feels like it's holding air in the middle! It has a yellow base, so it doesn't give a bright complexion. The product comes out of the main hole in the center and around the edges, but sometimes the foundation liquid spills out even when pressed carefully. There's no mention of SPF rating. I wonder if it's because this cushion focuses on calming effects? But then again, SPF is standard in cushions these days... It transfers easily. It doesn't set well, so hand and mask marks transfer readily and remain on the skin. It slightly emphasizes pores. Use after applying sunscreen. Setting powder is a must. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 25, 2020
Matte finish and full coverage! If these are what you're after, this product is for you! Comes with a hygienic metal plate. Unfortunately, there are more downsides. Firstly, it doesn't suit my skin type. As I lean towards dry skin, I don't prefer a matte finish. Also, the puff is disappointing. The more I apply, the stranger my makeup looks. This is a cushion I'll never buy again.
