I really liked how it left my skin feeling balanced with both oil and moisture. That's great for my dry skin! When you first open it, there's a strong alcohol smell and it feels a bit harsh. It absorbs well, leaving the skin hydrated without any residue. I've rarely experienced any blemishes since I started using this. It feels a bit on the pricey side. I really liked how it felt fresh and light, without being sticky or heavy on the skin! While I appreciated that it wasn't heavy, it didn't seem to absorb well into my skin and had a slight tendency to pill. I've been using Laneige Perfect Renew line as my basic skincare for 8 years... The pre-renewal version was amazing. I hardly got any blemishes (in fact, using just the refiner would calm my skin down). After the renewal, both the refiner and emulsion have become worse in terms of how they absorb and even their scent. They seem heavier now, making my skin feel greasy in summer, and the fragrance seems more intense. I'm so disappointed that the renewal resulted in a downgrade. It applies smoothly and absorbs well. The hydration is quite good too. I think it would be great for those with dry skin. I believe I bought it for around $4.50. There's not much to complain about. If I had to say something, it might not be ideal for oily skin types.

The ingredients are so impressive that I'm at a loss for words. While there weren't any significant drawbacks, I did notice it dried rather quickly, leading to some dryness. However, since it's a toner that absorbs rapidly and allows for easy transition to the next skincare step, it wasn't a major issue. Rather than patting the product onto different zones of your face (forehead, left side, right side), I found gently sweeping it across the skin with your hands worked better.
