I've been using this for about 5 years, and the best thing is that it maintains a smooth complexion without any white cast. Another advantage is that it's easy to remove. It's quite rich in oils. It might be a bit too much for those with oily skin. - ba********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 27, 2023
A mineral sunscreen that feels like a chemical one! Among mineral sunscreens, it's the best for foundation compatibility. If you have super sensitive skin, you often have no choice but to use mineral sunscreens. Usually, as soon as titanium dioxide or zinc oxide are involved, the compatibility with foundation dramatically decreases. It's like applying foundation on a matte base. However, this sunscreen, despite being mineral-based, feels like a chemical or hybrid sunscreen! It's incredibly hydrating and works beautifully with makeup. There are no downsides! I just hope it doesn't get discontinued... It's potentially the only product that could end a sunscreen nomad's journey. - 94***Combination SkinSensitive SkinRednessJun 15, 2023
Writing this review so I don't forget... First off, I remembered it being a light cleanse when I tried it a few years ago, so I decided to give it another shot. My last memory was also that it caused redness and didn't suit me, but I thought I'd try again (wishful thinking...). The hydration is incredible, leaving your skin feeling super moisturized. It's so good that you'll wonder if this is really a mineral sunscreen. The application feel is amazing. However, the staying power doesn't seem to last very long. I followed my usual skincare routine, but maybe because the weather's gotten warmer, after two or three hours my skin became extremely oily. (Usually, even after ten hours of wearing makeup, my skin doesn't get greasy, but with this it became very shiny) Before using this, I had been diligently taking care of my skin at home and it was in a calm state. But after applying this, I started to feel a slight tingling and some redness appeared, almost like an allergic reaction. After washing it off, from the next day onwards, I experienced a massive breakout of tiny bumps... It's been 3 days since then, and I'm still dealing with inflamed, tiny blemishes all over. I usually only get this kind of reaction from cosmetics, and I'm still in the process of recovery... It's really shocking. Even though the ingredients are good, maybe my skin barrier has become weaker than it was a few years ago? That could be the case. Anyway, this product gave me an enormous breakout... I (personally) absolutely forbid myself from ever trying this again. Due to its moisturizing nature, it doesn't seem to make makeup last longer as a base. It might be better to use this sunscreen on its own. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2023
It's almost as light as a hydrating moisturizer with an SPF of 35, which is lower but perfect for everyday use without feeling heavy. It's not greasy at all and incredibly gentle - true to its word! As someone with sensitive skin and being pregnant, I love that it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients. I've tried many sunscreens with SPF 50+, but they always felt too heavy and irritating. I have combination-sensitive skin (too oily products make my skin look pale, while dry ones cause small pimples or occasional pustules). For those with similar skin types who can't use products that are too sticky (oily) or too dry, I highly recommend this. I only use heavier SPF 50+ products for intense outdoor activities. For daily use, this is my go-to. There's no white cast, it doesn't clog pores, and it applies as easily as a moisturizer. The lower SPF might be a downside, but it seems impossible to have such a gentle formula with higher protection. Also, it doesn't have any particular fragrance if you're looking for that. Perfect for everyday use when UV exposure isn't too intense. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2023
The texture spreads smoothly without any white cast. Even though I have super sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes. My husband and I both use it and we're always satisfied. There are two versions of I'm Safe, SPF35 and SPF47. The way they absorb is slightly different. However, neither is bad, and the SPF35 feels more like a hydrating moisturizer. It's so moisturizing that it can be used in place of a hydrating cream, which is great. - hi*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 18, 2023
It absorbs into the skin like an essence, providing hydration and making it comfortable to use all year round. I appreciated the lower SPF. The price was a bit steep, which was disappointing. I wish they would release a 100% zinc version as well. - yo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 24, 2022
I discovered this product while searching for a water-washable sunscreen after my previous one for super sensitive skin started causing itchiness. The ingredients list is excellent, and it feels comfortable and great on my skin. There's nothing bad to say. My only concern is that they might change the formula or discontinue the product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 20, 2022
It's refreshing, lightweight, and doesn't cause any blemishes. It's also great for sharing with my child. For water activities, you'll need to have a separate waterproof sunscreen. The SPF level is a bit disappointing for extended outdoor activities in midsummer. - kj*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 23, 2022
It's refreshing because it's a mineral sunscreen, and it's gentle on the skin. I'm prone to blemishes, but this doesn't cause any, so I've purchased it multiple times. The SPF is too low for a sunscreen. Many reviews say there's no white cast, but since I have darker skin, I can see it - that's unavoidable with mineral sunscreens. It seems to apply well at first, but it dries quickly and tends to pill. - be********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 17, 2022
I absolutely love this moisturizing mineral sunscreen! It's fantastic! As someone with sensitive and atopic-prone skin, I'm quite particular, but this is the best sunscreen I've tried so far! First off, I'm thrilled that it's a mineral sunscreen that doesn't cause deep dryness. That's a major plus! The absorption is incredibly smooth - it feels like applying an emulsion! There's no stickiness at all, and no white cast either! I highly recommend this as a non-irritating, hydrating daily sun protection product. There aren't any real downsides... oh wait, I thought of one! It runs out quickly. Because it's quite fluid, it gets used up fast. Please release a larger size! Also, if you apply makeup right after, it might pill a bit. I'd suggest applying the sunscreen, waiting a bit for it to settle into the skin, then using a mist before applying base makeup. That should work better! Instead of applying a large amount at once, it's better to layer on smaller amounts multiple times.
