It's not overly drying. However, right after application, when there's no oiliness at all, it tends to have a slight tingling sensation. Occasionally, I get blemishes. There are days when my skin becomes oilier without any apparent reason like fatigue, and that's when blemishes tend to appear. If you control the amount well, it's incredibly good. I'm absolutely thrilled with this product. It's been fantastic for reducing blemishes. It's disappointing that it's been discontinued. The new version has less product but a higher price tag.
