The way it absorbs and applies to the skin was decent. It felt like putting on an emulsion. It pills and leaves a white cast on the face. It doesn't pair well with the toner from the same Mochi line, and when applied together, it creates a white discoloration. - je********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessDec 10, 2024
It's lightweight, absorbs well, and offers decent value for money with a good amount of product. The biggest issue with this product is the packaging. It's an emulsion, similar to what you'd typically expect, but why use such a container for facial skincare? It's more like body lotion packaging. After squeezing, the product left at the opening hardens within hours due to air exposure, and comes out with the fresh product next time. It's likely to have gone bad by then. While the convenience is nice, I can't recommend it. It doesn't even have a twist-lock mechanism, so you'd have to decant it for travel. Many reviewers mentioned the scent, which I thought would be a strong citrusy lemon that I'd enjoy. But it's actually an artificial chemical fragrance with a hint of lemon that lingers unpleasantly. The most disappointing aspect is that I used this with the Wonder Line toner from the same brand. It was fine on the first day, but from the second day onwards, I kept getting small bumps that would come and go. I concluded it was due to the Wonder Line products and stopped using them after a week. Fortunately, it didn't cause a major breakout, and I'm switching back to my usual skincare to calm my skin. Lastly, it doesn't live up to its name. While it's lighter and absorbs better than expected, it doesn't create that 'mochi-like' skin texture. It doesn't address deep dryness, and applying more makes the skin feel slippery and like the product is just sitting on top. - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 3, 2024
((This is a twist review. Only recommended as a hand cream)) I recently received a 30ml emulsion as a free gift with a TONYMOLY cushion purchase. The emulsion has an incredibly lightweight texture. It feels almost like a soothing gel, leaving the skin hydrated and finishing with a thin layer of moisture-ceramide barrier. I had oily skin from my teens to mid-40s, but lately it's been a bit unpredictable. When my skin isn't at its best, I feel a slight tightness, and if I use something too rich, I break out. Basically, my skin type changes depending on its condition - sometimes oily, sometimes dry, sometimes normal. So I adapt my skincare accordingly. I would recommend this product to those with oily skin~ (Reason for not recommending it is below) Having lived with oily skin for a long time, I find this perfect for the transition into colder seasons. Its light texture combined with a moisture-ceramide barrier that isn't heavy makes it great for those with resilient, youthful skin, especially teenagers. That was my initial plan for the review, but...! I had to reconsider. Would I use this product if I could go back to being a teenager? Would I buy it for my child? I don't think I would... I believe skin should be nurtured with non-harmful ingredients from the start. The skin you consistently care for from a young age becomes your report card, visible in the mirror at my age or even older. Honestly, the concerning ingredients mentioned in the 'bad' section bother me. To be frank, I'm not using this product on my face. Since it's a 30ml sample size, I'm using it as a hand cream substitute. I don't like sticky hands, so for hand cream purposes, it suits my preferences. I prefer my hands to be a bit dry rather than sticky, so I like this type of light, soothing emulsion texture. Recommending a product that I use as a hand emulsion for others to use on their face doesn't sit right with my conscience... It's not that this product is bad, but this is just my personal opinion and a candid review. There's a citrusy scent, so I checked the ingredients. Avoid this if you: Have oily skin with large, sensitive pores! Or if you have acne or blemish scars! Please pass on this!!! = It contains acidic oils (lemon peel oil) or potentially irritating allergens (the trio of citral, limonene, and linalool) These ingredients can irritate sensitive areas, promoting rashes and blemishes, and can sting when applied to areas with large pores!!! - se*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 6, 2024
I'm not a fan of face masks because I dislike the sticky residue they often leave. I'm quite picky when choosing emulsions, but this one is just right - perfectly moisturizing without being too heavy. There's hardly any residue left on the skin. Even though I have sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes. When applying, it tends to pill and turn white if you rub it in, so you need to pat it in vigorously. I don't feel like it's making a significant improvement to my skin... It just seems to reduce deep dryness a bit. - ba*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2024
While it's a bit much for my face, I've been using it on my body and it's not bad at all. If you're buying it for body use, the ingredients are actually better than many body emulsions you'd find at the supermarket. The scent isn't great, and it feels lacking when applied to the face. However, for body use, I have no complaints. - tb********Dry SkinRecommendedOct 7, 2024
It's great! The more I use it, the better it absorbs. I feel like I need to keep using it to fully appreciate its benefits. The only downside is that the amount seems a bit small for the price, in my opinion. - wy*****Dry SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresOct 4, 2024
It's great for daily use. Does a decent job with hydration. The strong scent might be hit or miss for some. Personally, I found the artificial fragrance off-putting every time I applied it. - os***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 4, 2024
I love that it comes in a pump bottle, so you can dispense just the right amount. The texture is incredibly smooth, making it a joy to apply! It's an emulsion with a perfect consistency - not too thick, not too runny - which makes it really easy to spread. Unfortunately, the fragrance was a big no for me... It smelled too artificial, which I didn't enjoy at all. - kj*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 29, 2024
The ceramide ingredient helps strengthen the skin barrier. It's not heavy and applies smoothly without any fuss. This might not be suitable for those with oily skin or acne-prone skin. The lemon peel oil in it can make the skin feel a bit rich. It's great for applying on both face and body. - ye*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 16, 2024
The pump dispenser made it convenient to apply whenever I thought of it, perfect for frequent use throughout the day. I didn't find any particular drawbacks, so I'm definitely considering repurchasing.
