As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts even to baby lotion and gets irritated after just one day of makeup, this emulsion was surprisingly gentle! I also have extremely dry skin, but this product provided just the right amount of moisture. Of course, you need to apply a small amount - too much can clog pores and actually be counterproductive! I highly recommend this for those with dry, sensitive skin like mine. It's definitely worth the price! The rich, oily texture is very intense. Please apply only a tiny amount! - dm*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 12, 2024
●Skin profile: Dehydrated, combination in different areas, super sensitive skin, prone to excess sebum production, milia, occasional itchy or painful blemishes, frequent flare-ups of dermatitis, redness ●Incompatible products: Centella asiatica-based products, heavy textures, carrot pads, Dr.G cream formulas, hinoki water-based products, oily or overly nourishing formulas, shea butter, silicones, dimethicone, pore-clogging ingredients (still exploring) Recent skin condition: My skin reacted badly to an essence from a certain brand, causing dermatitis. When I ran out of steroid ointment over the weekend, I misused Ecnon cream by applying it extensively. This led to severe dermatitis spreading all over my face, causing pain, stinging, and constant heat. I had no alternative cream. It was the worst condition I'd ever experienced, and all I could do was cool my skin by gently rubbing it with toner and cooler. While researching barrier repair creams, I realized most common products contain high concentrations of centella or cica ingredients, which I don't recall working well for me. After extensive searching, I came across hospital-grade products. I found an online store specializing in these products and inquired, feeling somewhat desperate. They provided detailed and friendly recommendations for several products. *One suggestion that appealed to me was to mix Sebium cream and AR cream in equal parts. I've used hospital creams from dermatologists before, but they were mostly common brands like Aestura. These usually contained pore-clogging ingredients, making me hesitant to use them long-term as someone with combination dehydrated skin. I never used them for more than a month and didn't notice any significant improvements. ✔️I haven't used this product alone ✔️It feels more moisturizing than Sebium, and the mix provides just the right level of hydration ✔️For those with skin like mine, I recommend trying hospital-grade products instead of struggling to find a barrier cream. There are various brands and price points available, making selection relatively easy Additional review: When used alone, it's less oily than expected. Compared to Sebium, Sebium actually feels oilier or greasier. Using Sebium alone feels heavy, while mixing the two seems to be the best option! I sent a long, detailed inquiry before purchasing because I was desperate. They included samples that seemed suitable for my sensitive skin along with the product I bought and some of the recommended items. This allowed me to test with samples first, giving me peace of mind as I now use the full-size product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 17, 2021
After wearing masks for a while, I noticed some redness around my T-zone and cheeks, and my pores seemed enlarged. My dermatologist recommended this for redness and sensitive skin, so I decided to give it a try. I'm impressed that even with a small amount, it provides great hydration in winter and I've had almost no blemishes. (I used to use Physiogel despite having oily skin, but it occasionally caused breakouts and felt quite rich) I'm not sure if it's as effective as the hype suggests. I've been using it for nearly two months, but I think I need to observe the results for a bit longer. - za***Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
Unlike other moisturizers that seemed to work well at first but became irritating or insufficient over time, this one remains gentle and provides ample hydration. 1. At 40ml, it's a tiny size for the price of around $30, making it quite expensive. 2. It's only available at dermatology clinics for in-person purchases. 3. Online shopping options are limited. 4. While it's gentle and moisturizing, it doesn't seem to have any additional benefits for improving skin texture, focusing solely on hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2019
I started using this product on my doctor's recommendation after a facial burn. While I'm taking extra care with my skin, I'm really pleased with the brightening effects I'm seeing. It's not quite enough for hydration, so I'm using additional products to supplement. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2018
I've been consistently going to the dermatologist, but this time, whether due to fine dust or something else, my skin became unbelievably red in just one day, with numerous tiny bumps appearing on my T-zone. I immediately went to the dermatologist. Of course, after treatment, I separately received and used this product. It seems to work well, with no particular blemishes and the redness appears to be subsiding nicely. I don't think there's anything particularly disappointing about it. If I don't have any other emulsion to buy, I'll likely continue using this one. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 21, 2017
It absorbs well and provides average hydration. I purchased it from a dermatology clinic. The dermatologist recommended this for my redness, but every time I use it, I get small blemishes on my cheeks. Now it's just sitting unused. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 19, 2017
I bought this from my dermatologist's office and it's truly amazing! I have sensitive skin, but this doesn't cause any blemishes and seems to work perfectly for me. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but in winter it can be a bit drying, so I use it alongside a hydrating moisturizer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 19, 2017
It felt really moisturizing and absorbed well without any pilling. I think it would be great for those with dry skin! Unfortunately, it caused me to break out... I noticed small bumps appearing around my cheeks. Apparently, products containing mineral oil shouldn't be used on oily or acne-prone skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 3, 2017
I first tried a sample last year and loved it so much that I asked someone going to Europe to buy a ton for me. After using it all up, I ordered more through a purchasing service (I heard it's available at Mon* Pharmacy for direct purchase, but I haven't tried that). I use it instead of an emulsion. It helped reduce the redness I got from initially applying the wrong ointment, and it also had a calming effect on sudden breakouts. Since it's a cosmetic product and not a medication, it doesn't completely eliminate redness. Also, it doesn't prevent blemishes from appearing altogether. I've been using it for 6-12 months now, and while I don't see the dramatic changes I did at first, I still use it because my skin gets worse when I use other products. I heard it's available at dermatology clinics. If you visit one, I recommend asking for a sample to try before buying.
