This isn't just a regular moisturizer. It's a high-performance cream that really shines when your skin barrier is seriously compromised. ✔ With a whopping 10,001ppm of pure Vitamin E, you can count on its antioxidant power. ✔ The skin-identical lipids like Ceramide NP, Cholesterol, and Phytosphingosine are expertly formulated, making it gentle enough even for sensitive or reactive skin. What's truly impressive is its robust soothing ingredient lineup - Centella Asiatica, Madecassoside, Panthenol, and Allantoin. This means you can apply it with confidence even when your skin is acting up. Plus, it's packed with various peptides, so you're not just getting hydration - it feels like you're addressing barrier function, firmness, and oxidative stress all at once. The rich texture might feel a bit heavy for oily skin types or during summer months. While it's a great match for dehydrated combination to dry skin, those who dislike any hint of greasiness might find it a bit much. The tube packaging does allow some air contact, but the oil-based formula is well-designed with supporting antioxidants to adequately protect the oxidation-prone ingredients (like Vitamin E). An airless pump would have been ideal, but the current packaging is perfectly fine for practical use. On days when you use active ingredients like retinal or azelaic acid, finishing with a layer of this cream creates an impenetrable barrier shield. Its oil-based formula effectively prevents moisture loss, and the high concentration of Vitamin E provides an additional antioxidant defense. When my skin feels super sensitive, I sometimes use this cream alone. With its combination of soothing ingredients, barrier support, hydration, and antioxidants, it's incredibly useful for simplifying your skincare routine! - jj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 8, 2025
There's no better pairing than applying this cream after a pure vitamin C serum It might feel a bit heavy for oily skin types, possibly leading to a sensation of clogged pores - ca***********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2024
It works synergistically when used with a vitamin C serum. The texture feels like a thick, soothing cream. After application, it absorbs completely without leaving any residue on the skin. The affordable price means you can use it generously without worry. The tube packaging keeps the contents fresh. It doesn't feel particularly hydrating, so I'm applying a separate hydrating serum. I wish it came in a larger size. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2024
It's thick and substantial, making it a reliable winter moisturizer. Those with extremely dry skin might want to layer something else on top. I have no complaints other than wishing there was more product. It gets used up quite quickly. - le*********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 10, 2023
I realized the effectiveness of vitamin E when my nails became incredibly strong after just three applications. It's more effective for nail care than globally renowned nail strengtheners. It seems to have all the beneficial ingredients blended in. For the skin, I apply it sparingly, and it seems to work well. I've heard that vitamin E, being fat-soluble, can accumulate in one spot. While the product is good, if you squeeze out too much of the 1% formula, the absorption rate might be too high for the skin area, potentially causing side effects. The product is great, but I'm afraid to apply too much. Applying it to your nails twice a week for three weeks can result in extremely strong nails. - so******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2022
My skin is combination type with normal cheeks and oily everywhere else! Applying just a pea-sized amount in dabs keeps dryness at bay and leaves a fresh finish. This cream has excellent absorption and isn't sticky at all, which contributes to that refreshing end result. Since it likely contains pore-clogging ingredients, those with oily skin might trigger a breakout party if they apply too much. For oily skin types only: Use sparingly, dabbing on small amounts. Gently pat it in without irritating your skin. - hy********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 20, 2021
The ingredients are formulated without any concerning components. It contains whitening functional ingredients, and instead of water, Centella Asiatica extract is listed as the first ingredient on the label. There's a slight cosmetic scent, but it's practically fragrance-free. I really appreciated the absence of artificial fragrances. The tube packaging is hygienic and dispenses the product well. When squeezed out, the cream maintains its shape, indicating a high-viscosity formula. It doesn't apply stiffly like a balm on the skin, but it's still quite a rich cream. As someone with dry skin, hydration is my top priority. While the moisturizing power is moderate and the rich feeling doesn't last too long when used alone, it's not too greasy to use before makeup. It doesn't feel slippery or make your skin look shiny. I bought a vitamin ampoule from the same brand, and the product description mentioned that vitamin C pairs well with this cream, which is why I purchased it. Personally, I didn't notice any dramatic effects, but since they say there's a synergistic effect in terms of ingredients, I'm continuing to use it with faith. Regardless of the pairing, the cream itself is a decent product. When I sleep, I prefer to apply a thick layer of an oily cream like Physiogel. However, this cream doesn't have that level of richness, so I use it for daytime and not as a night cream. - su**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedMay 27, 2021
I'm a male in my 20s with dry skin. I bought this Vitamin E cream along with the Innovative Concept Vitamin C ampoule for their synergistic effects. While the texture isn't great - it's quite thick and heavy - you can apply it gently by patting it lightly. Though it may not stand out in terms of fragrance, value for money, or texture, I'm considering repurchasing it alongside the ampoule because I'm so satisfied with the Vitamin C ampoule from the same brand. The cream's ingredients are also good, which gives me confidence in the product. Summary: Recommended skin type: Dry, very dry Scent: Slightly metallic Texture: Thick and heavy Moisturizing effect: Average Skin improvement: Good Value for money: Low to average Repurchase intention: Yes Compared to other creams nowadays, the texture is really not good. While vitamin products tend to be like this, it's very thick. It's not easy to spread on the skin, and you have to be careful not to apply too much pressure as it could raise the pH level. Despite the thick texture, it's not particularly moisturizing. Because of the texture, you end up using more, which makes you feel like there's not enough product. The scent is slightly metallic - not overpowering, but those who are sensitive to fragrances might find it off-putting. There's no dramatic improvement when used with the Vitamin C ampoule. Don't set your expectations too high to avoid disappointment. It just somewhat improves skin texture and evens out unbalanced skin tone. Still, it seems more effective than other brightening ampoules from other brands. I'm satisfied with the ampoule, so I'm willing to repurchase. However, if you're planning to use the cream alone without the Vitamin C ampoule, I'd use a different product. Summary: Not recommended for: Oily skin Causes skin issues like blemishes or allergic reactions: No Skin improvement: Average Personal cons: 1. Expensive, 2. Poor texture Personally, I think using it with the Innovative Concept Vitamin C ampoule creates the best synergy effect. Apply the Vitamin C ampoule, let it absorb for about a minute, then gently apply this cream. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2021
This is my first review. The texture is incredibly firm and dense. After applying it to the skin, there's a subtle metallic scent. I decided to try it because I heard it works well when used with vitamin C products. The product seems to run out quite quickly. However, since it's not a runny formula, it doesn't drip or evaporate easily. You need to gently pat it into your skin with your fingertips for the best application. Apply it carefully after your vitamin C product to avoid raising the pH level of your skin.
