It was so bad that I developed PTSD and could only use Vaseline, avoiding any portable lip balms when going out. My sibling suggested Nivea wouldn't cause the same issue and gifted me the Nivea Moisture Lip Balm. To my relief, nothing bad happened! I'm just thankful I didn't get cold sores... It's a blessing in itself. However, reading other reviews, I noticed some people mentioned inflammation... It seems to vary from person to person, so I hope it works well for those who decide to try it. The scent might surprise you at first. It smells like men's aftershave or cucumber. I've gotten used to it now though.

It's a convenient lip balm to carry around without much thought. The price is reasonable too. I can't think of any particular downsides. I love that it's not sticky! The price isn't too high either, so it's a comfortable lip balm to apply anytime, whether before bed or whenever you need it. It doesn't noticeably remove dead skin cells... Hydration - The moisturizing power is truly impressive. My lips stay hydrated all day without any dryness. Dead skin cell removal - Thanks to its moisturizing properties, it's great for exfoliation. I apply a thick layer before using other lip products, let it sit, then gently rub with a cotton swab. It effectively removes dead skin cells without causing any damage to the lips. Portability - The small size is perfect for slipping into your pocket. Hygiene - The stick format allows for clean and hygienic application. Scent - The fragrance is really... It would be better if it were unscented. The artificial, strange scent is truly off-putting. I've bought this several times when I needed it urgently. Personally, I liked the scent, and it seems like a product you can use without any issues. The fragrance can be hit or miss for some people. Apart from being moisturizing and affordable... there's not much else to say. After using this, I developed cheilitis and went to the doctor. The doctor said it was due to my mask, so I kept applying it. But as soon as I stopped, the cheilitis completely disappeared. This lip balm brings back memories. It's moisturizing and reliable. It's truly a budget-friendly option. I still find myself buying it occasionally when nostalgia hits. Rather than providing deep hydration, it feels greasy. It doesn't moisturize the inner part of the lips well. The glossy finish makes me hesitant to apply it when I'm out.
