It's a decent serum. Nothing particularly outstanding or disappointing, just a pleasant, average experience. I liked how hydrating it felt. I'm a bit let down by the lack of standout features. I had high hopes for its soothing effects due to the mugwort ingredient, but I didn't notice any special calming benefits.

I have combination dehydrated skin that changes with the seasons. This serum feels light and absorbs well, similar to birch serums, but the Haepungsuk serum has a slightly thicker consistency with a pale yellow transparent texture. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, leaving a fresh finish. It would be great for teens or early 20s with combination skin. If you're looking for a lightweight, refreshing product, this is a good choice. I was hoping for a bit more hydration, and it doesn't completely eliminate deep dryness, which is a bit disappointing. However, I found it works well as a base serum to mix with more potent products that might be too harsh on their own. It absorbs well, probably because it's quite thin. That's really the only positive thing I can think of. I didn't feel like it had any soothing effects or benefits for my skin. Instead, it seemed to increase the redness and burning sensation on my cheeks. I thought it might be because I was using it in winter, but after seeing other reviews, I realized I wasn't alone in this experience. I applied this when I felt blemishes coming on, and it really helped calm my skin. It was a lightweight soothing serum that applied smoothly and absorbed well. I really enjoyed the subtle mugwort scent. It absorbs so quickly due to its ultra-thin texture, making it perfect for summer use. While it's great for combination skin, those with dry skin might find it a bit too light.
