This is a hybrid sunscreen containing 65% Houttuynia Cordata extract. It applies thinly and absorbs well when patted onto the skin. There's a subtle scent, not overpowering, but those sensitive to fragrances might want to take note. It leaves a slight white cast when applied. It doesn't cause any stinging around the eyes when applied nearby. However, I accidentally touched the inner corner of my eye with sunscreen on my fingers, and it did sting a bit, causing my eyes to water. While it feels moisturizing and smooth when first applied, it quickly takes on a matte finish. Because of this, when reapplying, it's better to pat it on gently rather than rubbing it in to avoid pilling. You might find it helpful to apply with a sponge or brush. - jh*******Combination SkinRecommendedJul 30, 2023
True to Dermafactory's reputation, this product offers great value for money and delivers on the essentials. I mistakenly bought it without checking the SPF level carefully, but that's my error and not a major issue. Just make sure to cleanse thoroughly when using this product. - pi******Dry SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2022
The price is great. There's a bit of a white cast, which suggests it provides good sun protection. I've used it nearly 10 times, but it leaves my skin feeling dry and somewhat sensitive afterwards. I don't plan to continue using it. Apply it with your hands and immediately pat it in with a puff. Otherwise, that white residue? It sets as you initially applied it and won't blend out. - dk******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 27, 2022
To be honest, I bought this sunscreen to mix with the tone-up sunscreen from the same brand, and the synergy is fantastic! When used alone, it can be a bit drying. Also, I found that a single cleanse wasn't enough to remove it completely. Try mixing it with a brightening moisturizer sunscreen for best results!
