True to its 'Expert Level' name, this product seems like it's for real pros. It's incredibly spicy! I can handle it well since I'm used to this kind of intensity. If you have sensitive skin, try a milder version. The color payoff is surprisingly excellent, and I love how it gives the impression of smoothing out fine lines. It's a winner in my book! If you accidentally touch it with your tongue, be prepared for an intense burning sensation. Also, the staying power is disappointingly short-lived, which is a major letdown. - le*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsDec 22, 2023
Does it do its job? - It's not just a minor difference as I initially thought. The lasting power? - It seems to fade as quickly as the tingling sensation, probably not even lasting 30 minutes. Only the redness around the application area persists a bit longer. Repurchase intention - I don't feel the need to buy it again as there's no significant difference. Intensity of sensation - It's not too strong by my standards. There is some redness, but it doesn't hurt like eating something really spicy. I think it could be a bit stronger. The tingling sensation also doesn't seem to last even 30 minutes. The effectiveness seems to vary by color. Sweet Pumpkin appears to be more effective than Spring Glass. The photos are in order: before application > 3-4 minutes after application > 10 minutes later > 30 minutes later. I'm quite disappointed with its lasting power and effectiveness. The price is also too high. You can assume that all the colors shown on the website screen are different. The actual color of Sweet Pumpkin is close to mulled wine. Don't be misled by the colors - I recommend using the clear one and applying other color makeup on top. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 22, 2023
It feels like I've applied chili powder to my lips - there's a spicy, burning sensation that rises up. I can feel a tingling, swelling sensation. The tingling is so intense that if you wear a mask after applying this, it feels like you've fallen into a pit of fire. I wouldn't recommend this for first-time lip plumper users. - la*******Combination SkinAcne SkinJul 19, 2023
Hmm... It's not extremely spicy, but it has a nice moderate tingle when applied. I'm satisfied with how it feels on my lips, but as expected, the staying power is... The staying power is incredibly short (though I think that's common for most lip plumpers), and the scent was really off-putting! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 20, 2023
It seems to be effective. I'll probably use it occasionally rather than frequently. Even though it's supposed to be the mildest, it still causes irritation. There's a burning sensation... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2023
To be honest, as someone who absolutely adores this kind of product, I was over the moon with it. It's not that I enjoy my lips getting plumper, but rather I love the tingling and burning sensation. This one was the most intense, which made me love it even more! While applying this feels amazing, instead of achieving an attractive plumpness, I often found that only the lip contour would redden and swell. It's almost like when you eat spicy food and the seasoning sticks to the edges of your lips... For the best look, apply just a small amount to the inner part of your lips. - be*******Dry SkinAcne SkinApr 2, 2023
Being extra-strength, it seemed to work really well when applied The staying power is disappointing... After using it a few times, it's no longer spicy when applied and doesn't work as a plumper anymore Please refer to the photo of when I first applied it. It was good at first, but the longevity is disappointing, and after using it a few times, it no longer works as a plumper... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 25, 2023
Forget every lip plumper you've used before. This is the lip plumper that sets the standard for all others. It's the most effective and dramatic plumper I've ever tried. Being transparent, it's perfect for layering over your favorite tint or under your go-to lipstick. You can even achieve that trendy 'tanghulu' glossy look with this. The tingling sensation might be too intense for those with sensitive lips. If your lips are already in poor condition, it could potentially cause discomfort. - qq********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 3, 2022
It stung a bit at first, but I was thrilled to see my lips becoming fuller! My tongue hurt a lot when I accidentally tasted it, and I was disappointed that my lips didn't plump up as dramatically as the ads suggested. - mk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2022
This might be the best lip plumper out there. It seems to be a product that guarantees results. At first, it feels cool, then midway through you get a mix of coolness and spiciness, and once it settles down, it feels fine. I bought the clear one to layer over other lip products, but I think getting one with color would be great too. It seems worth the price, I love it so much and would definitely repurchase! There's not much to dislike, but if you're not fond of intense sensations, I'd recommend getting the milder version. I applied this without any base, and it's so moisturizing that it could double as a lip balm. As you can see in the photo, it slightly changes the color of your lips (maybe due to the tingling sensation). So it's perfect for those times when you want a natural lip look without the hassle.
