It's moisturizing yet has a fresh finish, so even my family members and I, who dislike sticky products, are all using it well! (Sorry for the late review, my iPhone wasn't receiving data so the message came in late) I usually apply toner and then emulsion or cream, but when I only used toner and this product, I felt dryness after a few minutes. So I tried to layer this product, but it doesn't absorb into the skin and just rolls off like dead skin cells. While it doesn't feel dry, it's not exactly bursting with hydration either. So, those with dry skin might find it insufficient on its own. For oily or combination skin types, this could be perfect as a final step. If you have dry skin, you'll need to layer another cream on top. It might feel a bit dry otherwise! The lightweight texture allows for generous application, and it absorbs quickly without lingering on the face (which is great, though it doesn't mean it's drying). In other words, it's not drying for combination skin, but it's not deeply hydrating either. That sums it up (++dry skin folks, make sure to add another cream). Its quick absorption might be its biggest advantage during humid summer days! Oh, and while it does contain fragrance, the scent is neither particularly pleasant nor unpleasant - just subtle, I'd say. First off, it's slightly disappointing that it contains fragrance, which can be a concern for some. However, I didn't notice any significant blemishes, so it's not too worrying. Just be cautious if you have active breakouts or wounds, as it might sting a bit in those cases (though this is common with most products). Even with my sensitive skin prone to cystic acne, whiteheads, and dead skin cells, it didn't cause any blemishes. As someone with oily skin and lots of flaking, this cream alone was enough to keep my skin hydrated in May. While it doesn't specifically target acne, the non-greasy hydration seems to help calm breakouts. I love that it doesn't clog my pores! I think this would work well for all skin types, from oily to dry! The texture is delightfully elastic and spreads easily. It might feel a tad sticky at first, but it absorbs so quickly that you don't notice any residue. The application is incredibly smooth! I prefer this to bouncy gel creams. After applying, your skin feels moisturized with a slight firming effect! Unlike some gel creams that form a film, this one doesn't leave any residue or pill up, which is great. The scent is floral but not overwhelming - it's slightly sweet and fresh. It reminds me of a pleasant bathhouse scent from childhood. It's not 100% moringa, seems to be a blend. Honestly, while not super luxurious, the fragrance is oddly addictive! As someone with cystic acne, whiteheads, and enlarged pores, this product didn't worsen my acne at all! In fact, it seemed to help balance my skin's oil production. Unlike some gel creams that can cause flaking on dry areas, this one provided enough hydration even when used alone, without causing any dead skin buildup. Even when layered over a hydrating essence, it didn't feel greasy at all. I appreciated that the package came with paper cushioning material! While the scent is nice, I wish it had less fragrance. It could be even milder and still be fine. Being a gel cream, the 50ml size isn't very generous. It seems to run out quicker than expected! For an average face size, including the neck, it might last just under a month. While the jar looks luxurious, I'd prefer a more hygienic option like a tube. With the gel texture, you end up dipping your fingers in more often than with a solid cream, which feels a bit unsanitary. In conclusion: I'd love to see this in a larger size with different packaging! After showering at home, I apply just this product before working out. It keeps my skin hydrated without clogging pores and seems to protect against mask friction, which I really appreciate! Lately, with the heat and mask-wearing, I've been dealing with what feels like contact dermatitis and constant blemishes. It feels like a mix between a gel cream and a moisturizer. Though it looks like a gel cream, I was surprised by how bouncy it feels when applied. It seemed to have a very light texture, but after application, it forms a sort of film. Upon checking, I found it contains moringa seed oil despite being a moisturizer. It might be better suited for dry or combination skin types in the height of summer rather than winter! While it is elastic, if you don't let it absorb properly, it might cause your makeup to pill. The texture is quite unique, but if they could improve its absorption just a bit, it would be perfect for those with dry skin even in summer! I apply a layer at night, and when it's about to absorb, I apply another layer before sleeping. That's when I discovered this product. I've been using it daily lately and I'm quite satisfied with it. As it's a gel-type moisturizer, I keep it in the refrigerator and use it after cleansing. It calms my skin and reduces redness. My skin used to feel like a cracked desert, but now it feels like it's been blessed with much-needed rain. In the morning, applying cream and then sunscreen can lead to pilling, so I generously apply it in the evening. The next morning after cleansing, I notice significantly reduced redness and a hydrated feeling. Like most gel-type products, I find that it can cause makeup to pill, so I end up using it like a hydrating mask in the evening. However, it does cool and quickly soothe redness. It's a shame that it contains fragrance. I have combination dehydrated skin that's particularly dry in the U-zone, which might be why gel-type hydrating creams like this don't seem to suit me. I heard the fragrance was nice, but wow, it's really something special. Is this the famous moringa scent..? It's not just the aroma though - the way it applies, how it lasts overnight, and so much more - I'm truly impressed. Skin condition: Super sensitive and dehydrated (some adult acne + inexplicable stinging and redness when applying products + lack of firmness) Texture: It's not just a simple moisturizer, it's more like... a nourishing cream and hydrating moisturizer in one? I usually use lightweight moisturizers and layer them multiple times, but this... it's like applying yogurt or a mud mask (that's a compliment!). It has this substantial feel to it. I absolutely love it! Application: It glides on smoothly, kind of like spreading kaya jam on bread! I'm completely smitten! Moisturizing power: Just one application provides a thick, nourishing layer. It seems to have excellent moisturizing properties - the fact that even my extremely dry skin doesn't feel parched is a testament to its hydrating power! I had a brief bout of seborrheic dermatitis around my nose area in the past. Even after it healed, I still experienced redness or a feeling of skin tightness and irritation when using products. Unfortunately, this product does cause a bit of a stinging sensation. I'm not sure if it's due to a lack of hydration like with Kiehl's moisturizer, or if there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin. However, those with sensitive skin who experience occasional stinging might want to use this product with caution. It's a shame. Since it's a rich moisturizer, I apply it to the wrinkles under my eyes.
