I love it! On days when I wear makeup, I apply it to a cleansing pad before my regular cleansing routine, and it removes everything so well. Some say you can use this alone for cleansing, but I still prefer to follow up with another cleanse. It's just my personal preference! If you accidentally misaim when pressing the pump, it can sometimes squirt out in an unexpected direction. - go*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2023
When removing makeup, it feels so clean and refreshing on a cotton pad, leaving a cool sensation. To be honest, it stings quite a bit for my sensitive skin type. I'd recommend this for those with healthier skin. - ss*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 30, 2022
I always trust and use ISOI products because of their great ingredients However, when I searched again on Hwahae, I found that there's one potential allergic reaction-causing ingredient... That's a bit disappointing - ru*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 27, 2021
I've settled on the ISOI essence and tried samples of all their products. The verdict? They're all pretty good, including the foam cleanser! That's why I decided to buy their cleansing water. For ISOI, known for their price-to-quality ratio, it wasn't too expensive. As expected, ISOI delivers excellent product performance... It even removed my mascara! My first-ever cleansing water, Dokdo, couldn't do that, but ISOI managed to remove over 80% of my waterproof mascara. Of course, it didn't remove 100% - I didn't expect miraculous cleansing effectiveness from a water-based formula anyway. Why? Because as a typical impatient Korean, I can't hold a cotton pad on my eyes for more than 5 seconds. I'm too scared of getting it in my eyes while gently wiping. Is there a cleansing water that doesn't sting or irritate if it gets in your eyes? Sigh... Compared to the very mild Dokdo cleansing water? It doesn't feel harsh or strong at all. The potentially allergenic ingredients listed were fine for me too. My face didn't turn red, and there was no significant irritation - just a bit of physical friction from wiping with the cotton pad. Above all, the packaging is incredibly convenient and great. I hope they never change this bottle design... Please! Decent cleansing effectiveness for a cleansing water. However, it can't fully tackle waterproof makeup. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 15, 2021
It doesn't feel sticky and doesn't tighten the skin, so it's very comfortable to wear. It removes makeup effectively, so I always keep it stocked. The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use. The product tends to leak a bit from the sides when pumping, and it's on the pricier side. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2020
I use this when I have light makeup on, and I love the fresh, clean finish it gives. Drawbacks... Well, there's nothing specific that I found disappointing about this product. I pump the product onto two cotton pads stacked together. Using just one pad, I noticed too much product was being absorbed and wasted. So now I use two pads for each pump. - ra*********Dry SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2020
Removes light makeup effectively. Even when not wearing makeup, using it with a cotton pad helps eliminate sebum. I like it. The gentle feel is also nice. It's expensive, so you need to buy it during a 1+1 promotion on the official website. As a result, I end up buying two bottles when I only need one, which is a bit frustrating. The shelf life after opening is 6 months, but I can't use it all up in that time, so it becomes a year's supply for me. Anyway, it might be useful for those who use it frequently. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2020
As someone with super sensitive skin, I love that this removes makeup without any irritation. I always keep a stash of Isoi on hand! It's pricey, but totally worth it! The price is a bit steep, but it's gentle and effective enough to justify the cost! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2020
This is the gentlest cleansing water I've ever used. With its pump design, all you need is a cotton pad - just pump and you're done cleansing! It's incredibly convenient. The cleansing effectiveness is great too; it easily removes sunscreen and base makeup (excluding point makeup). The price point is a bit high. Make sure to buy it when Isoi has a sale! A cleansing water that's great for sensitive skin - lo******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 1, 2020
The packaging is convenient. When you press a cotton pad on the lid, the perfect amount comes out automatically, so there's no waste. I switched to this after finishing my pink Bioderma. It feels slightly more moisturizing than that one. It's like applying a light emulsion after cleansing. However, I prefer a clean feeling, so I deducted a star for that aspect. It's not a big deal if you use this for cleansing though. As for cleansing effectiveness, I can't really compare since I mostly just use powder or brightening moisturizer and lip gloss.
