This is probably the most soothing mask I've ever used. I usually have severe redness and my face tends to feel hot, but this mask feels cool as soon as I put it on. Unlike other masks that only feel cool for a moment, this one maintains that refreshing sensation until I take it off. I bought it on recommendation from my esthetician, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients! + Interestingly, while it feels a bit intense when it's on, this is the only mask that actually reduces my redness after I remove it! The downside is that there's way too much essence. It's excessive. The mask is so slippery and wet that I've accidentally dropped it while trying to unfold it. Once applied, the essence drips down to my eyes and neck, requiring me to wipe it off with tissues. This happens even when I squeeze out some essence beforehand. You could probably moisturize your entire body with the essence in one pack. Also, because it's so intensely cooling, it might be irritating for those with super sensitive skin. I have somewhat sensitive skin myself, so I don't use it often - mainly in the summer. At my skincare salon, they apply this mask, cover it with gauze, and then add a modeling pack on top. It feels incredibly cool and refreshing - highly recommended for summer!!!! - s_********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 17, 2023
While the sheet isn't particularly soft, it adheres well to the skin. It's great for soothing, and when I kept it in the fridge during summer, the cooling effect was amazing! I still reach for it when my skin isn't at its best, and it works wonders. If your skin is in really bad condition, it can feel quite intense and might be too irritating. Use with caution. - yo**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2023
>> My skin type: Combination leaning towards dry << [Advantages] 1. Cooling effect - Incredibly refreshing when applied. - Noticeable immediate drop in skin temperature when stored in the fridge before use. 2. Absorption - After 15 minutes, it naturally absorbs into the skin. - When used before makeup, it allows for a smooth application without pilling while keeping skin hydrated. 3. Essence quantity - While not overly saturated on the mask sheet, there's enough essence to reapply to areas like the forehead after initial application. 4. Mask sheet - Made of thin cotton rather than gel, making it comfortable to wear. - However, it starts drying from the top after about 15 minutes. 5. Price - Although inexpensive per sheet, it offers good value for its soothing and cooling effects. [Disadvantages] 1. Insufficient moisturizing as a sleeping pack. - While it provides hydration, it lacks deep moisturizing properties. 2. Tingling sensation - May be hit or miss. Recommended if you typically respond well to tea tree products. Storing it in the fridge would make it perfect for summer use! - sy*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2023
This is my holy grail product. I have dry and super sensitive skin that tends to get red and irritated, or prone to blemishes. I've used so many boxes of this that I've lost count! It's cooling and hydrating, so it seems suitable for any skin type. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, and I'm using it well. When you have blemishes or your face feels hot, definitely put one of these on! It calms the skin down really well. - rh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 15, 2023
I can't think of any positives besides the affordable price The menthol makes my face tingle immediately upon contact. I removed it right away and even washed my face with water, but exactly an hour later, three angry red blemishes appeared. Absolutely avoid using this if you have sensitive, redness-prone skin that doesn't tolerate menthol - by****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2022
It's excellent for soothing, and I love that the sheet mask isn't too thick but feels like it adheres well to the skin! It's great to use on days when you feel like blemishes might be coming on. I keep it in the refrigerator, but it feels cold even when used at room temperature. When used straight from the fridge, it's extremely cold... (Although that does make it feel even more soothing, which is a plus...) - je*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 5, 2022
This is a face mask I occasionally use from a budget-friendly Korean esthetic brand! Although it costs less than a dollar per sheet, you can definitely feel the soothing effect after use. The sheet is thin and easy to apply, making it perfect for times like these! The mask is also generous in size, making it great for men to use too! It's a shame that it's difficult to buy individual sheets! You have to purchase packs of 10 or more. While their collagen mask is also popular, this cica mask is definitely better for calming the skin! You won't see improvements in just one day! Try using it consistently for about 3 days, and keep in mind that it's also great for reducing skin redness and heat sensitivity. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 1, 2022
It's incredibly refreshing with an excellent cooling effect. This face mask specializes in soothing without any oiliness, making it perfect for daily use. It's especially great for those with sensitive skin who break out easily due to excess oil. When my skin was in distress and I even had cold sore-like symptoms on my lips, this mask immediately calmed everything down. For cooling effect and soothing properties, the Cellfusion C face mask is actually better. However, the Cellfusion C pack is more suitable for use 1-2 times a week or on particularly bad skin days, while this mask is light enough for daily use. Since it absorbs quickly and effectively, make sure to layer the remaining essence multiple times for maximum benefit. - dk******Dry SkinRecommendedDec 11, 2021
1. Soothing On days when my face is flushed, I first apply the abundant essence from the pack before using the mask. After a short while, my skin calms down and my complexion brightens up. 2. Cooling The cooling effect is intense! I'm not sure if it's the tea tree or mint, but there's a refreshing sensation that doesn't irritate the skin. It effectively lowers skin temperature. The cool feeling is so strong that if you refrigerate it, your face might feel frozen! That's why I just store it at room temperature. 3. Hydration The amount of essence is no joke - it's so hydrating that it's almost hard to absorb. After removing the mask, I have to massage thoroughly to help it sink in. The hydration gives my skin a glow and a clearer appearance. 4. Generous Essence I love how there's an ample amount of essence both in the packet and soaked into the mask itself. It's impressively generous! There aren't any downsides... Oh, it's easily found online when you search for it. The price is actually more affordable than regular sheet masks, which is great! Esthemax has other mask varieties, but the tea tree one is my favorite! - 05*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2021
The soothing effect is incredible! All those tiny blemishes that popped up from using incompatible skincare products are disappearing! It's so refreshingly cool! Wow, it's actually too cold. The cooling effect goes beyond good - it's intense. I wonder if it's the weather, but even after storing it in a warm room for hours, I can't believe how cold it can be. It's beyond cool, it's chilling. It feels like burying your face in a pile of snow. The mask sheet is thick and doesn't get soggy. Whoa, it's way too cold, what's going on? There's not really anything to complain about.
