◆ Case The case is luxurious. It feels great when opening and closing it. ◆ Color Payoff You might as well consider the color payoff to be almost non-existent. It's more like a lip balm that adds a bit of life to your lips, rather than something you'd use to apply actual color. ◆ Price The price is absolutely wicked. I got to try it as a gift, but I don't think I could justify buying it with my own money. ◆ Bulkiness While the case is luxurious, it's not practical at all. It's square, heavy, and takes up a lot of space in your makeup bag. - mi*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 6, 2022
It's identical to Dior's Lip Glow. However, the texture is slightly firmer, which makes application smoother and neater - a definite plus. Besides Morning Rose, I've used Crazy Bouquet (red) and Peach Party, and they're all moisturizing, clean-feeling, and have great color payoff. I usually get bored with lip products before finishing them, but I've used up all of these Guerlain ones. It's clearly a copy of Lip Glow. The case looks a bit dated, perhaps catering to Guerlain's older customer base. If you're going duty-free shopping, grab several as gifts. From my experience giving lip products from Dior, Fresh, Clarins, and Guerlain, Guerlain was the most appreciated. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2022
This is so much more luscious than the Dior lip balm... It naturally transforms the color on your lips The price, the price, the price...! And the design feels a bit outdated. Can't be helped since it's Guerlain, but still... - lh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 27, 2021
The moisturizing effect is great and the color payoff isn't bad either. The scent is absolutely lovely, and the packaging is so pretty. If I hadn't lost it, I would have used it until the very end! There wasn't anything I disliked about it! It was great for me to use, and everyone loved it when I gave it as a gift. Duty-free shops have a wider variety of products, so I recommend shopping there! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 20, 2021
Personally, I preferred Guerlain over Dior's lip balm. It feels softer and I like the case design more. The hydration seems comparable. The moisturizing power is just average, so at this price point, I'd rather buy a different product instead of specifically choosing this lip balm. - gh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2021
•It's almost transparent with a really natural color. It has a pink tint with about 10% opacity. Perfect for when you're wearing minimal makeup, and it's just right for these days when we're wearing masks and avoiding heavy lip colors. •The hydration is great too, so I always make sure to carry it with me when I go out. •While the packaging leaves much to be desired, the product inside is excellent. •The lid comes off way too easily. I often carry it in my pocket, and sometimes it opens up on its own. •The product is attached directly to the base without a support like MAC lipsticks, but it's softer than a lipstick. When applying, it can bend and stick to the case wall. It feels like it might get squished if you keep it in your pocket on a hot summer day. •It's quite heavy. If you toss it carelessly in your pocket, you'll need to replace it soon. Also, if you apply it with too much pressure, the base can bend. You need to apply it gently. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2021
Absorbs beautifully, provides deep hydration, and has an exquisite packaging design. The container's grip is impeccable. When it comes to lipsticks and fragrances, Guerlain is truly unparalleled. The only drawback is that it runs out quickly. Other than that, there's nothing to complain about. Absolutely no regrets. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2020
It's so moisturizing, nourishing, and the rose scent is absolutely divine! It glides on smoothly and the sheer color gives your lips a healthy, natural flush. I love that there's a variety of shades to match different complexions. My favorite is 371, the softest pink - it's just perfect! Being a lip balm, it tends to melt and break in warm places, which can make it quite inconvenient to use. The shape can get really distorted. I'm not sure if others have experienced this, but it happened to me, unfortunately. If you apply this before your lipstick, it helps smooth out any dead skin cells on your lips and makes them super soft. I recommend applying the lip balm, waiting 5-10 minutes, then gently wiping it off before applying your lipstick. This ensures your lipstick goes on smoothly and stays hydrated. - gu********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 24, 2020
A lightweight lip balm that provides gentle hydration! The color is a subtle pink, just like the balm itself - barely there but noticeable. Isn't the design absolutely gorgeous? I personally love the block-like feel, reminiscent of Guerlain... The white container with its shimmering pearl finish is divine. It applies with a delightfully chewy texture, but once it touches your lips, it melts smoothly due to your body heat, settling in nicely while feeling light. And the scent? I absolutely adore it! I'm not a fan of artificial fragrances and can't stand headache-inducing scents, but this has a delightful rose aroma that lifts my mood every time I apply it. It truly embodies its name 'Morning Rose' - like the scent of roses in the early morning! In terms of moisturizing power, it's not quite up to par with everyday lip balms like Bioderma or Uriage. Also, since it's not unscented, I wouldn't recommend it to those who are very sensitive to fragrances or simply don't like rose scents. And if you're someone who absolutely insists on colorless lip balms, this might not be for you either. (Though I must say, the color is extremely subtle, barely noticeable really.) Personally, I like to apply a water tint first, let it set, and then lightly layer this on top before heading out. It gives a beautiful glow and provides enough hydration to keep my lips smooth and moisturized even in dry seasons, without any dead skin cells in sight! - ry*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2020
I loved the subtle rose scent and the beautiful case. When applied, the color is almost transparent. However, it fell short as an actual lip balm. My lips tend to dry out quickly and develop dead skin cells, but this lip balm didn't help me at all.
