❣️Scent❣️ This product has my favorite scent among all Lush fragrances! It has a subtle blend of soft coconut butter with a hint of lemon, and a touch of sweet mango. If you're a fan of citrus scents, this will be your top pick! Every massage with it just fills me with happiness. ❣️Application❣️ It melts easily with body heat, so it glides on smoothly even on dry skin. You can apply it to specific areas and then massage it in to spread it out. I think it's because it's an oil-based product! Just be careful with heated floors in winter... I wish I didn't have to learn that the hard way... It melts really easily! ❣️Recommendation❣️ It's perfect for those days when you're exhausted and stressed, or when your legs are swollen. Using this gives you a sense of relaxation. I honestly repurchase this product every time it's on sale. It lasts for a very long time, so it's quite cost-effective! It's a shame you have to buy the case separately... And when it's on sale, buying in bulk makes it incredibly cost-effective! - se**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresFeb 24, 2024
Oh my, I bought this massage bar during the Lush sale without checking the reviews, just because I wanted to try it. The reviews seem mixed though...?! In the past, I would have chosen a body emulsion or body wash, but lately, my body's been aching all over, so I thought a massage bar might help with that. I was curious, so I decided to give it a try! I originally wanted the one with red bean bits, but it wasn't on sale, so I chose the cutely named 'Easy Peach' instead. The scent reminds me of peach-flavored Hi-Chew candy - sweet and tangy. I thought the embossed part was for massaging, but when I tried it, it didn't feel particularly soothing. However, when I used the edges to really work it in, I felt a slight muscle relaxation. Rubbing it on the back of my arms felt surprisingly refreshing, but it's a shame to see the bar wearing down so quickly with each use... The areas where I used it felt moisturized, like my skin was coated. Being winter, it didn't feel sticky or melt excessively. For oily skin in winter: It provides light hydration, but it doesn't solve the issue for extremely dry areas like elbows. Even after rubbing it in thoroughly, the next day my skin was itchy and flaky. The scent longevity, which I was looking forward to, is also quite poor. If you're buying it for the fragrance like a perfume, I'd recommend a body cream instead. Using the massage bar feels great in the moment, but at the regular price of 19,000 won, it feels too expensive for me. The sale price might be okay for trying it out a few times. I might consider repurchasing (in a different scent) during next year's sale! As someone who really values cost-effectiveness, if you truly need a massage, I think body oil + gua sha would be much better. In fact, massaging with oil and gua sha provides noticeably more pressure than the massage bar. - ks********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 2, 2023
I bought this for gua sha massage, but after trying it for the first time, I fell in love with the scent and have been using it consistently! The citrusy lemon and lime fragrance is so refreshing! It's the perfect size to hold in your hand, and using it feels like you're getting a massage and aromatherapy session all in one. The scent and hydration last for a long time! The biggest drawback is that it's difficult to store without a tin case. Also, when you rub it on your skin, it melts faster than expected, so too much product gets applied before you can even start massaging, which slows down absorption. While I don't think the ingredients are particularly great, I haven't experienced any blemishes yet, so I'm still using it. I'm enjoying it overall, but I'm deducting one star because of the ingredients. Pro tip✨ After showering, before drying off, massage the product all over your body. The moisture helps you use just the right amount and it glides on smoothly! Before bed, apply it to your dry skin, focusing on your neck, shoulders, and collarbone area. Use your hands to spread it out to avoid using too much. You'll wake up feeling great! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2021
I use this as a substitute for body emulsion. I loved it when the solid body emulsion was available, but it seems to be discontinued now... Anyway, this one is also great for hydration. It has a refreshing lemon scent. I've tried Lush's other massage bar, Therapy, before, and I think the moisturizing power is almost the same. Only the fragrance is different. I personally prefer Therapy's scent haha. Compared to the solid body emulsion, the quantity is less. For a similar price, you only get about half the amount. You can really see it shrinking quickly haha. It gets used up so fast when I apply it all over my body daily... - ki*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2021
With winter making my legs super dry, I decided to trust Lush again after reading reviews. I wish I'd discovered this sooner! Why didn't I know about this before? It works hard to combat that deep dryness. My skin feels so much better now, with improved hydration and a healthy glow. Don't throw away the tin case, you'll regret it... I'll have to try finding a replacement case at Daiso or somewhere similar later. - hi********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2020
It's incredibly hydrating! Unlike other oils, this one absorbs beautifully. It doesn't just sit on top of the skin, but really sinks in, leaving you feeling deeply moisturized. The fragrance is lovely too. I found it too precious to use all over, so I applied it to my extremely dry areas. By the next morning, those spots were amazingly soft and supple! The quantity is disappointingly small. If you were to use it daily all over your body, it probably wouldn't last even a month. Storage can be tricky, and the tin case is quite expensive. I found the tin case too pricey, so I opted to store it in a small ziplock bag instead. It worked out just fine! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2020
The scent is amazing! Just having it on my vanity makes me happy. The design is so pretty. It's a bit heavy for summer use, and the design is somewhat inconvenient to apply. Surprisingly impractical. - 23****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2020
The fragrance is absolutely delightful! I use it after showering before bed, and the subtle, pleasant scent that lingers helps me sleep better. It's not overpowering at all, just a gentle aroma that creates a soothing atmosphere. There's not really anything to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say it gets used up a bit faster than I expected. - tn******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 26, 2019
After exploring various body butter massage bars, I chose this product. With its citrus scent that's generally well-liked, and the moisturizing benefits of shea and cocoa butter, it's become a repurchase for me. Since it's made purely of butter without any wax, it's quite soft and melts easily in summer. I highly recommend storing it in the refrigerator, especially during use. In winter, it's best to massage it in, letting it melt with the warmth of your hands. It does absorb a bit slowly. Most of Lush's massage bars are about 98% cocoa and shea butter, with added fragrances or exfoliating powders. When choosing, I recommend focusing on the scent. The Therapy bar has the mildest fragrance among their products. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 10, 2019
The scent is a delightful tangerine-lime blend that's incredibly refreshing and pleasant. It's not overpowering, but subtly perfect for an enjoyable experience. It moisturizes so well that it feels like an oil, without being sticky. Ideal for fall and winter use. I've been applying it on top of my body emulsion, especially on areas that still feel dry. It might be too rich to use all over the body, so I'm using it on specific areas. How well it works may depend on your skin type. Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture.
