I use shade 21 or the slightly lighter 22, and when applied thinly, it looks so natural - just like my own skin. I think I'll really enjoy using this. It has better coverage than expected, applies in a thin layer, and doesn't look cakey, which is great. I tend to have issues with makeup settling into lines around my philtrum and under my lips, so I usually apply only a small amount of base there. When I tried using a spatula to apply it, my lack of technique made it look a bit patchy in those areas. Also, because it adheres so well, it sets quickly. This means you need to pat it in rapidly after application, so you need fast hands and some skill. - tq********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2025
I have combination skin and I absolutely recommend this! Usually shade 21 fits me perfectly, but this color is a bit too dark for me. That's the only downside - it's just a tad too dark. Still, it's amazing! I totally get why people rave about Dior now. No sliding off, no darkening throughout the day, it's just right. Works great in any season too! It's too dark, making it darker than my actual skin tone. There's also a slight yellow undertone to it. Just apply toner once and then put this on right away. Highly recommended for those with combination skin! But I'd suggest getting a slightly lighter shade. This product is seriously incredible! - tn****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 12, 2025
It's worth the high price. It adheres perfectly to the skin, giving a luxurious glow without any excess oil. None. Considering it's Dior, the price is somewhat expected, and it seems worth buying. - ye*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2024

This foundation is the epitome of a perfect fit. When paired with a quality powder, it even looks beautiful as it wears throughout the day. There are no drawbacks. Just be sure to apply it evenly using a spatula for best results. - se************Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2024
It applies much more thinly than Estée Lauder Double Wear and gives a beautiful skin finish. It's become my absolute go-to foundation. It slightly lifts around the sides of the nose and doesn't completely hide skin texture. - go*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2024
As someone with extremely oily skin, I've always stuck to Estée Lauder products. But lately, I've been wanting a subtle glow, so I bought this on recommendation from a makeup shop. It gives a moisturizing effect that enhances my skin texture. For better staying power, I mix it with my Estée Lauder foundation. The black cap easily shows foundation stains, and it's frustratingly difficult to twist open. - 7p********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2024
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I'm a bit shy about writing my first review... But I've used up one bottle and bought another! Texture: - It's not thick at all. When I first squeezed it out, I thought I'd bought the wrong product! It's quite fluid but adheres well to the skin when applied. Color: - I'm around a darker shade 21, and this fits me perfectly! I highly recommend visiting a store to get color-matched by the staff. Why I recommend it: 1. Skin appearance <<< IMPORTANT ⭐ - With my combination dehydrated skin, thicker formulas tend to pill and look cakey. As I mentioned, this foundation is fluid and easy to apply, with a semi-matte, powdery finish. 2. Amount: - Doesn't look like much, right? Well, this bottle lasted me a year! I've got a drawer full of expired foundations, but this is the first one I've actually finished. I can't praise the skin appearance enough. If you have combination dehydrated skin like me, just go ahead and buy it! Price: - Over $80 for one foundation is... really too much. Accessibility: - I don't buy cosmetics based solely on reviews. You have to go to a department store, and if they don't have a Dior Beauty counter, you have to search elsewhere... It's a hassle. Longevity: - This might partly be due to my lack of skill, but I'm an oil well. My face produces so much oil, it could supply a small country. After about 4 hours, I need to apply powder and touch up frequently, which is exhausting. If you have dry or normal skin, you can use this foundation on its own. But if you're an oil well like me, you'll need to set it with powder to keep it matte!
