It seems gentle and nice. The fact that it can be used on both body and face is definitely a strong point. The only downside is that the cleansing effectiveness seems a bit lacking. - ww****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 31, 2024
The ingredients seem to be great since I'm not getting any blemishes. It's really wonderful! I don't think there's anything to complain about! The price is good too, and I'm satisfied. - dh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 22, 2024
When using, it's a gel type that glides smoothly and produces a rich lather, so one squeeze is enough for a thorough cleanse! I've tried other low pH cleansing foams, but this one has better cleansing effectiveness compared to others, which I really like. Even after rinsing thoroughly over 15 times with water and patting dry with a towel, I didn't feel much deep dryness, which was great. The scent is a bit... well, like old-school men's aftershave. To be honest, it surprised me at first and made me go 'Huh?'. I personally dislike it and wish it were completely unscented. I'm still using it on my face because it's gentle, but my boyfriend, who's sensitive to fragrances, finds it off-putting and won't use it at all. If you're sensitive to scents, you might want to smell it in-store before deciding! Also, after using this exclusively for about a week on my combination dehydrated skin (with more prominent oiliness), for a few days the oiliness wasn't visible on the surface. However, when I looked closely in the mirror and touched my face, I noticed that my dead skin cells were more pronounced than usual. My pores were quite clogged and it caused some blemishes. It might be best to alternate between this low pH cleanser and another one that suits your skin type. Using this alone was a bit too much for my skin type! - nc********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 3, 2024
As someone with oily, blemish-prone combination dehydrated skin that produces an excessive amount of oil (I wake up with oil practically pooling around my nose!), I highly recommend this product for winter as a second-step cleanser, especially for those with similar skin types. I know there are people out there thinking, 'Alkaline cleansers are too harsh for me, but acidic ones leave me too greasy.' I've been there too, but this product is just perfect. It's great for morning cleansing and as a second cleanser after makeup removal. It cleanses without causing any deep dryness, which is amazing. It's so gentle that it doesn't irritate or cause blemishes, making it truly suitable for the whole family. Another huge plus is how well it lathers. You only need a tiny bit of water and product to create an abundance of foam. I've never seen an acidic cleanser produce this much lather before - it might just be the best in its category for foam production! While there's not much to complain about, if I had to mention something... The scent is a bit peculiar. It's not unpleasant, but it's just... neither here nor there. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 12, 2023
I bought this because the whole family can use it for body, hair, and everything. In the morning, I enjoyed using it with its rich lather! I specifically bought this because it was supposed to be for sensitive skin and safe for children, but why does it sting in the evening after a day's use? - ia******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 9, 2023
After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight and remains quite hydrated. I think it's because of the low pH formula that doesn't leave your skin feeling squeaky clean. The low pH is both a pro and a con. While it keeps the skin moisturized by not over-cleansing, it doesn't effectively remove sebum, which led to my pores getting clogged over time. A dermatologist once said that for pore care, you need a slightly alkaline cleanser rather than a low pH one, and I can see why now. I wouldn't recommend this for those concerned about pores. However, it might work well as a body cleanser.
