I tried this skincare product because it claims to erase traces of wrinkles that naturally occur in everyday life! For an anti-aging product, it's not irritating or heavy. Instead, it's a comfortably thin, water-like serum that's perfect for easy nighttime use. After application, it feels like it's coating the skin, tightening pores for a firm finish! To be honest, I used it for about 3 months, but I'm not sure if it really had any effect on improving wrinkles. It might be because I'm still in my 20s. Also, it seems The Ordinary as a brand doesn't use much artificial fragrance in their products. Those sensitive to scents might not like the smell... it has a slightly medicinal odor. - hy*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 8, 2024
The texture is fascinating! At first, you apply and rub it in, then suddenly it becomes slightly sticky before absorbing completely. After that, your skin feels refreshingly light. It seems to be part of the absorption process. The Ordinary's price point is great, and it's so hydrating that I plan to use it even more in the future. This serum is more hydrating than other products. Even though I have dry skin, it's suitable for summer use. Personally, I still layer a cream on top! Try as I might, I can't find anything to complain about. There's simply nothing disappointing about this product! - ic*********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 26, 2024
My skin feels so firm and supple now! I heard peptides are hard to absorb, but using this consistently along with my skincare device has really boosted my skin's elasticity. The smell! The scent is way too strong. It's like I'm applying freshly manufactured chemicals straight from a factory to my face... - em******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 13, 2024
As one of the pricier options from The Ordinary, known for its affordable products, this serum is packed with skin-loving ingredients. Despite my oily skin, the formula wasn't heavy or burdensome, and it provided excellent hydration. It's perfect for daily use. Like most products from The Ordinary, it has a very honest, chemical scent. - da********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 20, 2023
I tried this with an open mind and I'm really impressed. First off, it contains HA (hyaluronic acid) which makes it super hydrating. As a basic moisturizing product, it's truly excellent. The lightweight, non-sticky formula makes it perfect as the first step in your routine, especially if you're using multiple The Ordinary products. I actually skip toner and apply this first - it's so light and hydrating that it creates a great base for other products, locking in moisture while keeping skin firm. I felt like it really improved my skin's density and elasticity. The only real downside is that it's on the pricier side. It's 21,800 won for 30ml and 38,400 won for 60ml, which is more expensive than many serums. I should have stocked up during a sale... But if you use it sparingly, about 3 drops per application, it actually lasts quite a while. Apply about 3 drops as the first step in your skincare routine. - ri*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 9, 2023
For combination to oily skin types, this seems perfect for fall and winter use. The rich finish creates an excellent base for makeup application. While the product itself is decent, it's unsuitable for oily skin in summer. The oil production goes into overdrive... it's overwhelming! Plus, it doesn't seem to absorb particularly quickly. - ki**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 21, 2022
Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with severe deep dryness and sensitivity Recently, I've been worried because no matter what I applied, my skin texture quickly became rough and dry. What I loved most about this product is how gentle it feels and how well it moisturizes. The formula has a rich hydrating effect, yet it doesn't feel heavy - it's refreshingly light. For an anti-aging serum, it feels surprisingly lightweight, but that moisturizing effect lasts for a very long time. I'm thrilled that I don't feel the deep dryness, which was my most serious skin concern! Moreover, as I entered my late 20s, I was really stressed about losing skin elasticity and developing more wrinkles around my eyes. This product not only provides firm and taut elasticity care but has also significantly improved my eye wrinkles! Using it consistently morning and evening has been truly effective. Applying a thin layer before makeup makes my foundation go on beautifully, and it's so gentle that I plan to keep using it. Highly recommended! The only downside is that if you don't get the amount right at first, it can feel a bit sticky rather than just pleasantly firm. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2022
I love this! The Ordinary products are great because they contain only the essential ingredients, keeping the formulation clean and simple. I can't think of any downsides! It even contains hyaluronic acid, which helps combat deep dryness to some extent. - jj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2022
The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum is a powerhouse product that targets various signs of aging with its multi-peptide formula, offering multiple benefits for skin texture, wrinkles, and firmness. It's packed with four scientifically-proven peptide technologies, skin-friendly amino acids, and a diverse hyaluronic acid complex. This potent blend helps diminish the appearance of fine lines around the eyes and improves skin elasticity, resulting in firmer, more resilient skin. Impressively, this serum claims to reduce eye wrinkles, smooth skin texture, and enhance skin density and elasticity in just 8 weeks! Peptides, which are chains of amino acids (essential components of skin), are the star ingredients here. They work wonders in addressing various aging concerns, helping to restore smoothness and firmness to skin that's lost its bounce over time. What's great about peptides is that they're based on components naturally produced in our bodies, making them incredibly skin-compatible. This serum is gentle on the skin and, thanks to its low molecular weight, penetrates deeply for stable, long-lasting results. It not only helps with signs of aging and supports the skin barrier but also proves beneficial for various skin concerns. As a bonus, it even works its magic on hair density and health! For truly dramatic results, I found that using this serum after a prep product and sealing it in with a moisturizer really amplifies its effectiveness. It's like a triple threat for your skincare routine! The only downside is that the serum quantity feels a bit on the smaller side. It would be great if they could increase the volume. - lo********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 7, 2022
The classic Buffet product has been relaunched as a Multi-Peptide + HA Serum, and with consistent use, I can really feel it helping with skin elasticity! When used regularly, you can notice your skin becoming firmer day by day. Rather than just sitting on the surface, you can feel the elasticity and hydration slowly building up from deep within the skin. This product works best when used as part of a routine, rather than on its own. For maximum effectiveness, I found it's best to use a prep product before the serum, followed by a moisturizer to seal in the serum's benefits. If you use it alone without other skincare products, you might find it a bit drying or not notice much effect. I found this worked best when used alongside hydration-focused products rather than other active treatments. My ideal routine was toner, then this serum (The Ordinary product), followed by a moisturizing cream or ampoule. An important tip: avoid using it with products containing Vitamin C.
